So he does, and so he walks.

The bus station.......looks exactly like you'd expect a bus station to look like. It's a rather large tarmac square with various buses gathered inside to various destinations with people streaming in and out of them. A kiosk is to the right of the square, where people buy their tickets, followed by a small building next to it which acts as the waiting room.

"You know Yuri, I could have just made a portal to where he wanted to go. It's not really a problem for me."
Kyle says eating his melt. He put ketchup on it. He always does that.

In that case Gosse purchases a ticket and waits for a bus out of the city.
((I'm about to inadvertently retire my character, aren't I?))

"Portals are so cumbersome, though."
Well, eventually, a bus arrives. Gosse can board, if he likes.

In that case he boards the bus, his shadow fading with one quick glance at the other passengers.

Well......
Gosse wakes up about fifteen minutes later, as the bus rolls in to wherever he came from.

.....that was rather anticlimactic.

((Oops. Guess I really did retire him on accident. Uh, I guess I ought to make a new character sheet then.))

((Well, he could return to the city on the same bus if he keeps the pass. It's damn hard to find the Endless City, but incredibly easy to get back in.))

"At least they don't smell."

"I thought they fixed that after the incident with the cantaloupes."

"It's a bus Yuri, it always smells. Like Locker Rooms and Latrines."

"I've been on buses that don't smell, Mister Johnson. It's hardly a hard and fast rule."

((For clarification, is the Endless City under Narnia Time or arbitrarily samescale with every other universe, even if the exact times aren't in sync?))
"...You're not really the type that starts conversations, huh?" that weird guy says to Maeve.
Amei, for her part, attempts to strike up conversation with a nearby waitstaff.
"Pardon me?"

"No."
Unfortunately for Amei, she gets Lieselotte.
"Yes, ma'am?"

((.....so does that mean it's Narnia Time or arbitrarily samescale (but, say, ten in the City isn't ten everywhere else)))
"I can see. I guess it's my job, then," he says, with feigned annoyance.
"Would you happen to know who cooked the fish? I want to give them my compliments. That was the best meal I've had here, which is saying something."
