"Uh... Can I change some of these notes?"
She extricates some crumpled paper money from her pocket.

He takes them and exchanges them for basically the same amount numerically in credits, which seem to be small plastic cards marked with the denominations they're worth.

Emi thanks the guy and proceeds to limp out of the shop, pocketing the tokens.
I've been teleportalled or something. Great.

Terry creases his barky brows.

"You may not know me, but I can still say hello, no?"

"Well I guess, but just opening with a straight 'How are you?' makes it seem like you know us, which ya' don't."

Tony looks disappointed his question wasn't answered, but still hopeful.

And so Emi does. Well, it seems all the other people have piled into the cafè from earlier, so that's probably a nice place.
