OOC Thread

It's a normal day in the Endless City.

You find yourself standing in the middle of a sidewalk on the left side of a street, facing a red brick building. The small wooden windows of opaque glass and flower beds with flowers of all kinds underneath, along with the vine-cradled trellis lying above the sidewalk jutting from the building give it a quaint feel, one shared by the painted wooden silver sign over the door, revealing the cafè's name to be Arcadia Paradise. A small blackboard is propped up next to the door, telling visitors of today's specials in fresh white chalk.

The sign in the door says 'Open'.
You are free to do as you wish.

Larissa enthusiastically pokes her head through the doorway, completely ignoring standard restaurant conventions.
"Hello?"
Larissa, you and eating in public don't mix. Please don't do this.
Emi looks around the immediate area. She could have sworn this was the route she normally took...

Ian walks past the odd girl sticking her head in and enters the restaurant. He needed some lunch.

[TCM]

A giant floating pirate ship descends above the cafe. "Thar she be! The finest grubmart on this strange land! Stay behind lads, I'll take a lookout and report what I may spy!" Captain Grimm rappels off the side of the ship as his entire crew cheers him on, ("Yeah, go Captain Grimm!" "Captain Grimm is the greatest!" "Be safe Grimm-Senpai!") before rushing into the cafe, barging through the open doors as if he expected them to be locked. "Who be the server to this eatery?"
A nondescript comes in behind Grimm, eyes fixtated down on his phone, causing him to bump into the pirate captain's ankle. "What the? Watch where you're going. Jerk." Jerry grimaces and slides around Grimm, resuming his focus on his phone. "What? No reception? What the hell kind of place is this? Oh my goddddddddddddddddddddddd."

The cafè's interior seems larger than the building on the outside. The furniture seems quite plain, but tasteful, with round tables and metal chairs with floral backrests. A TV is mounted over the glass counter at the back of the room, behind which stands a girl with auburn hair kept under a blue headband, who seems to be rapping on the counter with her fingers.

At the counter is sat a woman with red hair bound in a ponytail, poring over a notebook of some sort, in a brown leather coat with a small pen tucked upon her ear, facing away from the front. A man sits near the front of the cafè, scribbling furiously at a notepad with what appears to be a storyboard, adjusting his glasses and slicking back his black hair. In the corner, a black-haired woman seems to glower at everyone else, with what appears to be a translucent black leotard and tights, the only concession to modesty being a thin metal breastplate. Finally, sitting on a table beside the illustrator is a blonde woman with hair done up in curls, dressed in a white blouse and short brown skirt. She seems to be enjoying a cup of tea, oblivious to the newcomers.

Judging by the lack of particular attention being paid by the waitresses to them, they all seem to be regulars.

Of course, you are interrupted by a slender blonde woman with hair reaching down to her waist, clad in a light blue blouse and black trousers, smiling at the newcomers.
"Ah. Good morning. Welcome to Arcadia Paradise. It would be my pleasure to help you.

What would you like today?"

[Adragis]

Larissa stares at the woman closely, attempting to connect the dots. She could have sworn she knew her from somewhere.

She stops.
"Miss Heller?"

[Adragis]

Larissa continues staring blankly.
It's Yuri, stupid.
"...Yuri?"

Yuri's eyes light up with joy.
"Miss Heller indeed! How are you? Come, come, take a seat!"
They guide her to an empty table, if she obliges.

[TCM]

"Aye' fair barmaiden! I be hearing this hall has the finest grub this side of the great blue, is this true as true north?.
Jerry, without looking up on his phone, groans. "Password protected? What the frick."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"Try the one that says 'Arcadia', not 'Arcade'."
The girl at the counter suggests, not knowing what she's getting into.
"Only the finest, sir. Would you like a seat?"

[Adragis]

Larissa's eyes similarly light up, partially due to meeting an old friend, partially because where the Yuri is, there the good food is also.
She seats herself wherever Yuri desires. oh my
If only you'd listened to Jana and polished up your manners.

[SOLDIER First]

An orange-furred.. Man? Person? ..Person, sure, walks into the cafe. He is extremely unhappy.
And mumbling a stream of curses to himself.

Another person, a young man who simply was not there before, now existed outside of the café. briefly confused by his displacement, he would enter and look around.
"Excuse me, where am I?"

[TCM]

"Why of course! Lead the way sweetheart~" Captain Grimm bows to the blonde server.
Jerry retries the new Wifi spot without even acknowledging the ponytailed woman, and judging by her appearance there's a 50/50 chance she's either some sort of journalist or a yet-to-be-registered sex offender. "There we go. Finally."
Jerry settles into a chair, awaiting service.

Another person, a young man who simply was not there before, now existed outside of the café. briefly confused by his displacement, he would enter and look around.
"Excuse me, where am I?"

Jerry sneers as the puzzled dude enters the cafe. "You're in the Arcadia Cafe. Were you looking for the Anus Cafe instead?" The short monsters begins to laugh hysterically at his own joke, his laughter piercing and high-pitched.
