Alanis heads to the cafe's counter, with intent.

"Hello.  One, where am I, two, what's the chocolatiest thing you have, three, do you take any of these?  Sorry, I just ran into myself and I'm just a bit annoyed."
She proffers USD, credits, and two debit cards.  One is in Japanese.

One-to-one exchange? Surprising. Well, he got what he came for, and would head back to the café, encountering Alan and Alanis, the latter of which might recognize him.

[SOLDIER First]

"I don't hear a no."

[TCM]

Captain Grim contemplatively scratches his beard. "I see..." He turns directly to face the shivering waitress. "Bring me one of these so called burgers then, and a glass of your finest ale to boot!"
Jerry decides to order, "I'll have a BLT Sandwich, tofu bacon obviously, freshly spruced lettuce lightly watered and the tomatoes sundried. Have the sandwich cut diagonally and remove the crust but just trim it don't cut. And then a double shot black coffee sprinkled with a handful of saffron, no more, no less, French vanilla creamer."

Alan looks at the newcomer.

Alanis, on the other hand, is busy talking to the person at the cafe's counter.

The girl manages to write all of it down! Woo!
"......that all?"
After she gets an answer, she turns to the other newcomer.
"Well.....we have a nice chocolate milkshake."
Still glaring.
"I dunno. He just....appeared, one day. It just happens. Nobody really knows."

"Yeah, that's all. Or you know, everything." Jerry grins.
Captain Grimm waits to see if the shivering waitress heard him, or if she is about to go into some sort of blood sugar shock.

"Is there any reason someone would change when they come here? I was not an adult, last I remember."

Alanis replies to the counter person:
"That would be just wonderful.  How much do I owe you, then?"

Alan heads over to Lieselotte.

"Heya.  I didn't know you worked here."

Lionan matches her glare with an expectant look.

he would sit back down at his seat, which was close by to alan and Alanis.
"can I get a plate of Chicken Alfredo pasta, and a glass of water?"
alanis might recognize the voice, though it would sound younger.
