From behind the crab comes the spontaneous appearance of Roba Tron, coming into view as Bleebo scuttles away. "ROBOT IMPERSONATOR DETECTED. IDENTIFY YOURSELF FOUL METALLIC CREATURE." One of Roba's shiny arms rigidly points at FAF.

Instantly, FAFNiR's right arm turns into a triple barreled miniature gun, pointed directly at Roba and steadily glowing redder by the second. "I am Combat Model 002 "FAFNiR" version one point three six. I mean not you nor this establishment any harm, however if you assault me unprovoked I will be forced to retaliate."

Maeve is still scowling.

Roba puts both of her hands up in a gesture of surrender. "AH. AH. AH. THIS VICIOUS ARTIFICIAL MACHINE IS THREATENING ME FOR SIMPLE INTERROGATIVE REMARKS. I AM NOW AFRAID AS SIMILAR HUMAN BEINGS TO MYSELF WOULD BE IN THIS SITUATION."

Captain Grimm flanks FAF from the side. "Ladies! No need for such scuffling! You must excuse Roba's behavior, she's a terribly headstrong girl with a bad history with robots."

Kyle sips his water, trying to pretend the crazy stuff happening isn't there.
'Damn newbies, at the very least if they're going to run around causing chaos they could do it somewhere that I'm not going to eat lunch in.'
The people holding up weapons would not holes in space and time appearing outside the barrels. Attempts to point them in other directions will simply result in the portal coming to.

FAFNiR deactivates her gunhand and nods to the captain. "Of course, sir. Though perhaps the timespace portals were slightly gratuitous."

FAFNiR raises an eyebrow. "Sir, I was merely readying myself to act in self-defense against a potentially dangerous being whilst unknowing of your abilities. Please understand that I am not looking for conflict."

Roba Tron's eyes shift from red to orange. "WHEN ROBOTS ARE INDISTINGUISHABLE FROM HUMANS, WHAT WILL THAT MEAN FOR THE FUTURE OF US, THE FEEBLE HOMO SAPIENS? WILL WE HAVE TO SUBMIT UNDER A RACE OF FAUX-LIFE FORMS, OUR VERY OWN CREATIONS IN THE FIRST PLACE?"

A piece of paper comes out of a porthole at the back of Roba's neck, accompanied by a noise similar to one of those machines in a store that prints out a receipt. Grimm takes the paper and reads it, "'Humanistic Existential Crisis.' Well lookie thar'."

"I really doubt that's necessary."
