Our objective is to get heat and power back the base ASAP. I think we should pace ourselves and stay safe. A quick jog will get us there quickly and safetly. As for scavenging, I think we should wait and scavenge close to the base. Less carrying of heavy metal and parts, and then we can only find stuff we need.

Stay towards the rear, check the infrared tranciever to see if anybody nearby (other than us) are communicating with radios.

I'm sure that we'd make contact with something at least. If just like an RPG or something, there is always some sort of encounter in the middle of a long journey...

Your squad forms up, weapons at the ready before moving out at a brisk jogging pace. Jogging out of the Prescient and into the snowy city, through abandoned streets and past snow-coated cars. It's almost beautiful here now that the snow have coated the trash and bodybags.. almost.

The Red Panda climbs up a fire stairways, using a dumpster to boost himself up to get to the rooftop before Parkouring his way along with the squad. Looking both exceptionally dangerous and awesome at the same time as he had to leap from one building to another several times, a mistake could easily lead to a splattered Red Panda on the pavement, but so far so good.

Jogging along the highlighted path through the snow with weapons readied, it wasn't any surprise when some of the wandering survivors decided to get right out of your way, startled and scared at this marching line of armed animals. But you didn't stop to bother anyone and just kept pressing on closer to Central.

Dense apartments starts to give way to various stores and large sky-scrapers as you've come to the really urban area of the city now, the Central towers easily spotted even from within the concrete forest.

Things are quiet, but you'd guess nobody would want to risk freezing to death outside in an environment this cold, whatever survivors there may be is probably huddling somewhere hotboxing themselves.
