Jaco nods in approval after listening to Doc's plan.  The deers ears then swivel around the back of his head like little radar dishes as they catch the whispers of disapproval form the group of goats, Jaco looks over his shoulder

"Whats up with them?"

Jaco turns back to face the agents

Oh no worries about them.  They're the parents of Lear.  They're still trying to get up to speed with the whole "Secret Government Agent" thing.  They think he's, and therefore us, are a gang out causing trouble.  Lear's pretty good about smoothing things over.

Jaco sips his coffee

"eh, they can say what they want about us i'm not gonna get pissed, I don't want to cause any trouble with them"

Yea.  Lear will sooth things over here in a sec.  They're harmless.

Jaco rummages through his bag

"Oh Ya before I forget, I found some of these scattered around the armory last night

Jaco places the tear gas, and flash bangs on the table

"They may come in useful, who knows?"

Tenno wanders up, "got any smoke grenades?"

Jaco looks up at Teno

"No, but i got something better"

Jaco smiles as he picks up one of his tear gas grenades and shows it to Teno

Tenno gives him a blank stare. "So you're telling me that if I'm taking fire and need to vanish I pull the pin on this tear gas grenade and incapacitate myself? What a wonderful idea!" he says sarcastically, "Hey, why don't I just pop myself in the head while I'm at it?"

Jaco chuckles

"Smoke grenades won't bring a room of combatants to there knees coughing and choking.  Besides I put a respirator in my stash for just such an occasion"

Jaco explains pointing to his single filter painters respirator hanging around his neck

"In all seriousness, if your looking for smoke grenades check out the armory, I used to work down there before everything went to shit and we used to carry butt-loads of smokes.  If you can't find any down there ask the bunny"

Time progress slowly as the Agents sat and talked. Animals came and go for the mysterious soup, focusing on it's warmth and fullness over it's actual taste. Which, while technically edible, you've had Government MRE that tasted better than this sludge.

But hey, food's food. And you've no doubt this thing gets you all the much-needed nutrients for a long day ahead. It's warm too, so it especially help now that the snow are falling more.

The City's been pretty much blanketed by a thin later of snow already, you overheard some ZPD officers worrying that if the snow gets any worse and doesn't get better soon, everything might just be buried under snow. And that'd really make restoring civilization a lot harder than it already is.

"This snow's getting pretty bad, might do well with some heaters. We should totally pick some up while we work on that power line."

Checking the power supply, you find it.. worrisome.

Now only the Generator are aging and inefficient, it also barely output enough energy to run just the heaters in the building! Lights are kept scarce, Computers are turned on only when absolutely needed to, most of the powers are directed to warmth-making things and stoves to cook food with. It's probably why nobody froze to death yet..
