Name: Terry Jenkins

Gender/Sex: Male/Male

Race: Mutated Human

Age: 20

Appearance: Terry is pretty much an average human, but possesses several tree-like attributes, such as somewhat green, tougher skin and bark growths on his shins and forearms, as well as leafy hair. He generally wears a long, buttoned up shirt and pants. In the dark he passes for a human well enough. He's reasonably friendly, if a little jaded by other's scorn.

Backstory: Terry was known as the 'Tree man' or colloquially as the circus freak. He wasn't born with plant attributes but gained them because of the environment around his home, which he liked to play in as a child. He grew more and more plant like as he progressed into his teenage years, and was shoved out of school and home to wander around, being laughed at and abused. This was how he learned how to fight.

He made his way to this city, somehow, eventually. He doesn't really know what is going on, but tries to get on with life.

Abilities: Terry is just quite good at fighting. He sometimes can hear plants speaking, sort of, or what passes for speaking, and has a limited ability to convince them to do things. He doesn't know much about the supernatural, but suspects he has something to do with that, too.

Appearance: Terence is just a shadow, like any other shadowy shadow. But he can talk, and moves independently of Terry. He's quite the cheeky one, and will do a lot for a laugh. But now he's stuck with Terry for a physical substance, and all the people around him seem to have shadows to strong for him to kill.

Backstory: Terence found sapience a long time ago, so long that even he forgets. He found that, even after his master died, he did not simply disappear. So Terence, needing a physical body to sustain him, hopped from host to host, violently and silently slaughtering their shadows to take their hosts. Of course, Terence never harmed the physical counterparts. A few shadows even escaped from him, finding sapience themselves.

Abilities: Terence is invisible at night, and in the shadows of other objects. He can move away from any physical source of shadow for a short amount of time. He can also possess objects or people, boosting their strength and power but burning their soul away. Shadows are typically about as powerful as their physical counterpart, and their power increases with age, though quite slowly. Terence is said to be young by those shadows who have gained sapience.
