"...We should do a thorough search, but respectfully-we're not looters. Whoever claims the Captain's title can inherit his goods, if he has no written will. We should look for any hint toward what befell him." She said gravely.
"I have a distinct impression that that was directed to me more than anyone else. How rude! I mean," Callisto takes a second to sip the brandy on the table."I'm not some sort of barbaric pillager, I merely have a certain set of skills that I use..." He begins to pick the iron chest as he speaks. "... to their fullest extent."

"As good as can be expected. Where do you think we should go?"

Tokoda gives Gert a confused look. "Culworkes. We talked about that not five minutes ago."

"Yeah. I'll see where the rest of the crew wants to go."

Gert goes off and shouts among the halls of the ship.

"Anybody have an opinion on where to go?!"

Once the Bridge door closes behind Gert, Tokoda rolls her eyes, muttering "Sure, you can just go ahead and ignore my advice. I don't mind!"

Callisto raises his brandy up without looking, as his other arm is currently being used for lockpicking purposes. "The place where we are least likely to die!"

Gert comes back almost immediately.

"Yup. Let's go to Culworkes. Need any help with the course?"

"Aye, that'd be great. I'm thinking we just fly straight for it; no point in a slingshot around a different rock. Can you give me a burn length to break from this rock's pull?"

"Hmm." Gert makes a complex series of calculations he probably learnt last week and probably didn't need on a small piece of paper, and gives it to Tokoda.

There is one number circled many, many times.

She glances at the paper, and smiles her thanks. It seems a bit low to her, but there is one less body on board. She'd say something about it, but she can't bring herself to remind herself about it.
No point in stalling any more; there was work to do. She pulled over the speaking tube from where it rested, and tapped it a few times before speaking to get everyone's attention.
...
Throughout the ship, a sudden, loud tapping came through small pipes in the walls, followed by Tokoda's voice.
Tap Tap. "Tokoda to all crew: we've set a course for Culworkes, and we'll be burning mana in ten minutes, so strap down everything you don't want on your wall. Tokoda out."
...
With the crew alerted, Tokoda turned her attention to her own pre-burn preparations. She tied down the wheel, marked a candle to measure the burn length, and strapped herself in.

Gert gets into a short chair a bit behind and to the left of the pilot's chair and does likewise.

Busy assisting with both piloting and navigating, Vaye mentally hummed to herself as she worked, submerged in thought as the familiar and subtle feeling of momentum came into her perception.

She wondered who'd be the quartermaster on this run. Dishes and food supplies didn't take care of themselves!

Busy with her pre-flight checklist, Tokoda welcomed the elf with a request, "Vaye, can you handle the throttle, while I hold her steady?"

Callisto mumbles incomprehensibly. "Just wait a little longer, Moony. Almost got this lock figured out..."

Fio cannily noted the glass of brandy that totally hadn't been called her attention to in the OOC thread.

"The Captain's got stronger wards here in his cabin...I reason if he can take flight with an unoccupied drink, we should get a lot less of the...throwing-force." She said, unfamiliar with the technical terms. All she knew was it tended to threw her around alot unless she was in a softshell-a sort of bed filled with jelly. At least, that's how she preferred to ride out these sorts of things. Cormyr would also be fine-he just latched onto the nearest metal bulkhead when he felt the ship was about to move, and charged up his electromagnetic claws to stay in place. She had figured Star Dragons could nimbly move around metal bearing asteroids using the same method...
