The game is set in an AU where the.. ahem.. certain thing that drives animal wild in which I will not name as to avoid spoilers, are far, far more potent and easier to manufacture. And infectious.

So instead of sending our beloved protagonists on a heroic adventure to find Truth and Friendship, it instead turns the entire city infected with Wild Animals wanting to rip and rend you into pieces or infects you.

Thus you can still find Bellwether in the tower.

I saw the movie the day before yesterday, and now, I have an appreciation for the size difference in our squad. It's almost ludicrous.
