We can design one thing a round and revise two things, unless there is an event we win that gives an extra slot for a turn, which is a really powerful thing.

Okay then, lets make the Ma and then actually make that one gun and fix the landing craft.

Joe, we can design one thing this turn. I would rather not spend all of our effort on something that cant do any damage at all. Hence why the Ma has a radar system in addition to normal targeting systems.
Aye. If we do something, let's try and squeeze a reasonable amount of stuff into it.

-Better AA, aircraft, vehicular and infantry (Talking gun, radar guided missiles, infrared vehicular based missiles, manpads)
Need radar in both cases and in case of missiles - rockets.
-Infantry portable AT (ATGMs, dumbfire rockets)
Need rockets, possibly HEAT if we don't have that figured out.
-Infantry support weapons (grenades and launchers for them)
Grenades, sure.
Launchers, not so much :P, they aren't essential. We can get by having small rocket launchers or at least something more akin to hand mortars.
-Radar
Gib.
-long endurance aircraft (turboprops, which can be used for turboshafts in helis), namley AWACS, transports, possible gunships, definite sub hunters
Gib gib. SEADs gib.
-jet aircraft
Meh, though, yeah it's proably going to happen.
-Fixing the landing craft
Fuck, as long as it floats it's not really that bad. I say we use revision on that, again, but it's not yet decided since we might end up with more useless stuff.
-Fixing our rifle yet again (seriously, that friggin fire selector and those integral suppressors...)
Fuck the rifle for now, as long as the regular one works we can just go with it and get it fixed in future. The shitty integrated suppressor thing might go to commandos or something in few turns, so it's not like we have to worry about it yet, since we can't even get it.
-Indirect fire pieces (Mortars and stuff on vehicles)
Ye. Rocket artillery.
-helicopters, transport, gunships, ship-based
Helicopters everywhere. If we're going to Marine up this shit, we need helicopters. Maybe VTOL aircraf-
We need this thing.
Woop woop woop.
I mean, I know it's going to be horrible thing to design, but if we actually manage to do something similar, we might get an amazingly powerful transport vehicle and we might also arm it up or something.
-torpedoes for subs, aircraft, helis, etc
Not something very important yet.
-cruise missiles, including sub-launched
It will take a long time before we get that, even if due to balance.
-sonar (dipped, dropped, in vessel)
First we need the actual naval warfare to start happening. Or at least a buildup to it.
-full scale naval vessels, potentially equipped with turrets from the Ma
Laterrr...
-autocannons (probably gast principle, for helis, fighters, ships, saturation AA)
We generally need more weapons. Right now we have the basic infantry ones and what, an 90mm AA? 50mm tank cannon? Ugh...

 91.44mm AA, to be precise.

Also, even if we do get that Weserflug, we still need something alot smaller for things like frigates and things that need hovering. That thing is more for fast movement of big stuff into comparatively open spaces that things like gliders could not fit into.

It's more like a proof that someone thought of that stuff back then, we could make something more similar in size to Osprey or even smaller. We could use them to land heavier stuff faster than helicopter. Also proably kinda better at surviving enemy fire than helicopters, the only downside is that they are even more complicated, but I guess we could try to come up with something to fix that. Engines on wings instead of in the hull?

I don't think we have to make torpedo's,the damn things where in the first world war,we should have them, radar and sonar are also very useful, maybe we can squeeze miniature versions into some of our designs, but radar is highly needed.

-full scale naval vessels, potentially equipped with turrets from the Ma
You mean as small aa guns on the side, right?

If that was true, we would also have artillery, grenades, and alot of other things we are missing. We dont.

Depending on how well the system works, along with how well our eventually designed cruise missiles turn out, and of course the size of the vessel, they may well be able to take the place of main guns. They are about the right size for a coverts armament.

Honestly for anything other then a landing craft and a PT boat i doubt they would be the main guns.

yeah any main gun on anything larger the a PT would have to be 100mm at least and that's with a multiple barreled turret. But having a bunch of 50mm? point defense guns would actually be really useful.Because remember if they can dodge you flak you don't have enough flak.

My ground attack craft could defeat air threats if it outnumbers them, which it will for the time being. It would make a horrible mess of any helicopters... And it would actually help capture islands right now, rather than fighting the Mals in a few year's time... It also has rockets, just, you know, getting that out there... I mean, I wouldn't want to use it as a main AA, but it would tide us over for the mean time by being more mobile than ground AA. And it should be good for a long time so long as it is restricted to a support role...

May aswell try getting turboprops and radar on it if we are going with something like that. Atleast then it can see whats coming to kill it.
