Cry activates!

Clearly, it is most important in this case to find safety, so that you may fulfill your duty. But, this THING you have prized so highly... DUTY, it will make you leave your friend. Leaving friends is not a Good THING, as far as you understand.

"You must be safe, Ser Spicious. I will run, you will be safe."

He doesn't seem to react. You hesitate to run, waiting to hear some sort of confirmation that you are doing the Good THING by running. Fractions of seconds drag on as the ominous Light warriors creep ever closer. "Ser Spicious!" you cry desperately, "You said you cannot be separated from us. This is your duty. Don't leave me!" At this, he tosses you a sidelong glance.



His glossy eyed, matter of fact response makes you ANGRY, SAD, AFRAID... And you run. You run and refuse to look back as the red woman lets out shrieking commands. Metal clashes on metal as you continue to run. Metal slicing through flesh. Blood spattering across the streets.

More pressing: Hurried footsteps clatter behind you. Gaining speed, closing the gap. Your FEAR is insatiable, demanding your attention and consuming your focus. The beams of light are in sight, but the predatory soldiers of light demand a response!

You find yourself ensnared in a conflict! The two soldiers of light accompanying Amelia slipped by Ser Spicious, intent on destroying you. One is tall, lean, and made entirely of metal. The other is bulky, stone of skin with a smirk etched on his smug face.

"Congrats on the thirty-odd feet you managed, buddy," the stone one chides, "But shadows can't run from the light, only hide."

"Stop taunting and kill it already, Flint!" the metal one demands with a high pitched snarl.

The EXTREME FEAR of death overwhelms you. You must ADAPT to fight!

Tutorial- Adaption: At key moments, Primordia is able to imbue its own body with the physical manifestations of learnt THINGS (such as Deceit or Mouth, as seen early on).
Primordia must choose two REAGENT THINGS and combine them with a CATALYST THING, thus adapting to the situation and altering Primodia's form to best suit the situation.
