But we're EVIL. Can't be just be the antagonist? Get some betrayal, make Ser Spicious a worthy protagonist?
"The tale of a knight who must fight the forces of darkness, who betrayed him, pet his fish, and turned his fish into a finger-biting psychopath."

I'd watch that movie.

We're not EVIL, we're CHAOTIC. There's a difference. I'd love to play a chaotic good in a very lawful world.

I agree with Chromatic; chaos=/=evil. I dare say those dudes hunting the innocent chaos creatures in the greenery probably aren't very good people, but they serve order nonetheless. Chaotic good FTW!
Also, I believe we originally decided on Order, not Chaos. That's why Ser Spicious tested us, to see if we really were orderly. I guess we lied to him but then became just order-ish enough to trick the test? Sounds like something a being of chaos would do!

((I'm glad you guys are having this discussion. It's a big feature of this game: what is 'good' vs what is 'evil'.))

You attempt to get some rest...

But it failed! This new 'crying' THING really put you out of it, but you're not quite tired enough to rest soundly. Instead you take notice of what Ser Spicious referred to as his 'companion,' Icy.

"Hello, Icy. I am Primordia."

She gives no response. It seems this THING either cannot speak, or will not. Next you try to pat the Icy...

But it failed! She does indeed inhabit a bowl situated upon a cold plate, to keep the water solid. That is, ice. Oh, you get it now! She is named Icy because she swims through ice. Ser Spicious is quite clever, you realize.

It seems your mental faculties are forming rapidly. You are beginning to deduct THINGS without explanation. Ice, water, humor, plate, temperature, solid, liquid. These THINGS are cropping up in your mind as you caress the bowl.

Icy just rolls her eyes at you.

You have reached a new Stage of Life!

Your Attributes have increased! You have fully recovered!

You are now able to reason (deductive)!

While I too would watch that movie this seems like more of a Darkness is Not Evil plotline.

(So Primordia has voices in his head, and I'm basically the evil voice. YAY!)

Try to pick up the fish bowl off the cold-plate. Maybe if the water melts I can hug my new friend! Take care not to drop it.

With your newly found ability, you rush over to the table, eager to test the bounds of your logic.

This 'deductive' ability sweeps through your mind like a torrent of water down a thickly wooded valley. Items that blurred together now seem distinct, confusion swept aside: they have 'properties.' You think back to the first logic puzzle that was given to you by Ser Spicious. So simple in retrospect! These THINGS all have angles, or proportions, weight, hardness, malleability. All THINGS have are in ORDER here, in this new world. This notion of endless properties both excites and terrifies you.

Your mind racing, the puzzle falls apart and reassembles itself by your will in mere minutes. Again and again you separate the parts, learn a little more of their properties, and solve it again, shaving seconds off each time. An insatiable hunger for knowledge overwhelms you as you sift through your inventory, assessing each item, what it is, what it might be, what properties it has. You tear a piece of the Greenery Horizons off, but find that this 'paper' does not reconnect as the wooded puzzle does. Finally you get to your spidersilk sack and...

The Spider. These items. They have properties unlike that of Ser Spicious' home. Malleable, then solid, the congealed darkness doesn't make logical sense. The Idol, while an object, it light and transparent. This too is illogical. And the Cube of Elimination... It is a piece of Death. Death is Bad. Bad is not Good. Therefore, the Cube is not Good. But why is it yours? Why has the Spider chosen you? You lack the inductive reasoning required for such extrapolations...

Then, there is a knock at the door. Your surge of logic subsides as you are knocked out of your mind's eye.

You have gained new MAJOR abilities: Deductive Surge!

It is an easy mistake to make, To associate Darkness with evil, It is an easy thought to harbor. But both evil and good are choices made from perspective, Requiring both to have meaning.
We are neither. Having recently just been formed we are devoid of perspective. Good and evil are meaningless concepts to us.
I suggest we do not attempt to cause harm such as we were "harmed" in the past, If we even were harmed and not simply transformed. If we are to find a way to bring the allness back, We must do so without harming this new form of existence, Or we would do no better than those who took it away. For while they took our old ways, We changed. But if we were to bereft them of their current, We would destroy so much more than we would reclaim by taking such actions.
