Geshudgar - Interactive Adventure Comic
« on: February 29, 2016, 01:21:02 pm »

You are young plump helmet man who has just reached maturity. Feeling sick of the way your people are treated and determined to put an end to the mistreatment of your race, you have left your home of the underground wilderness to sate your desire for vengeance.

For this occasion, you have chosen to take on a new identity. What is your name, traveler?

Kirun Geshudgar!

Yes, that's an excellent name! It shall be known in legends across the land-!

You are snapped back to reality.

What foul creatures interrupt your dreams of world-domination?

Your journey begins in the city of Matulreked, located near a volcano.
The city is primarily dwarven, but there are humans and elves here in small numbers.
It also seems that this particular area has been overrun by cats.

What will you do?

Your dream of commanding a subservient creature is about to come true!

You pick up one of the fuzziest furballs by your feet, intent on naming him "Little Brother."
He will hopefully be the first of many followers.

He's actually quite... soft.

OWOWOW!!

...

Swish.

FOOM!

Woops. Looks like you got a little out of control.

Lil Bro ran away and the grey cat sustained an abdominal injury. You think you can hear him puking right now, too.
Since your anger is dwindling, you also decide not to hurt the other cats. Yet.

There is one of those Mushroom-Eater staring at you. I can see the hunger in his eyes, you might want to kill him as precaution!
...Or just talk to him. He could lead you to a Dwarfen Fortress/settlement/mountain home. You do want to find your imprisoned brethren and free them, right?

On another note, where did that spear came from? Is it copper? Bronze? Gold? Seems to be one of those metalls. Also, are we a dabbling Spearshroom now?

I say talk to the plump-helmet eater...you can kill him after he leads you to the nearest fort/market...

"commanding a subserviant creature" are we a power hungry Plumphelmet man?

What are you talking about? You've had your copper spear strapped to your back this whole time!

You decide to go interrogate the plump helmet-devourer.

"Hey, you like cats, don't you?"

You nod.

"Lot's of people don't like 'em much. I've seen soldiers play games of kicking 'em into the volcano and such.
Me, I like cats. They like to eat the scraps from the fishery."

You attempt to ask where the fishery is.

"Oh, just down that ramp there is my workshop."

You scoot nearer the ramp and listen. This pathway is crowded which is why you didn't want to go that way.

Moving straight through the crowded Pathway might be dangerous. There could be hungry donkeys, horses, dwarves, you name it - they could all nibble on you. Or people could just catch you.
However, we have an easy solution! Take the clothes of the dwarf and disguise yourself as one of them. Nobody will realize what happened until its too late!

btw, dwarven logic at it's best. Dwarf sees a Plump helmet man grab a cat, Cat claws at Plump Helmet Man, Plump Helmet man is enraged and heavily wounds a cat -> Yes, the Plump Helmet man likes cat, no doubt about it.

Everything's come full circle now. :D Your plump helmet man inspired me to play adventure mode as a plump helmet man and Cynder watching along inspired her to make a comic about a plump helmet man who just wants to rule the world. Now you're watching her plump helmet man, which hopefully inspires you in turn, continuing the cycle. I love Bay12. :D

Paint yourself with (war)mud to increase your mushroom powers and look less appetizing.
