Elephants made the river run red with blood.

So stupid human swordsmen and elephants ruined another much needed caravan -not that extraordinary of an experience in df. But what I did find neat was how their dead mule made the out door river literally fill with blood:

i had a fox seemingly ripped appart in the vicinity of the river. most of the fox was well away from it but its tail ended up on the bridge.

apparantly the tail of a fox contains enough blood to redden the river across almost half the map(only stopped because of a crossing)    :eek:

I had fun fiddling around with reclaim mode a while ago. I took pictures, and still have them floating about...

   

The river ran red with ratman blood. It was glorious. Only one dwarven casualty too, and that was to a named elephant lurking underground for some reason...

I wonder if its possible to syphon off some of the bloody water into a channel? You know, for the kids.

nuttin wrong with that, i posted a taskmgr screenie elsewhere recently and left in some of the background to share my common games list:

dk2 was a really fun game. i haven't been able to get it to work in a long time. course my copy is cracked, and i need the patch, and the right crack... i was missing something, forget what... mayhaps i will look again, that game was really fun!

rivers running with dwarf blood..the intro movie should have one...if armok god of "blood" is the diety...hes gotta have some sort of tribute to him in there...

How can you guys stand all those icons and text on your desktop? I can't stand any there... its not often I get to see my desktop unfettered, when I do I want to see the beautiful images I use for backgrounds...

Seriously though, I use neutral grey (R/G/B values equal) as a background color, cause I do color correction. You need neutral surroundings to do color correction. Normally all the games icons I have in the Quick Launch, I put em on the desktop for that screenie. Anything else on my desktop is a big "PUT ME AWAY YOU LAZY GIT!"

Normally my desktop is Grey, with 3 icons, here (my puter), net (network places or whatever windows calls it by default) and my recycler. Which I had renamed before but forgot how to rename that one...

My point was that I disable desktop icons...

Yes, I know I am an extreme multitasker.
I actually have to shut down most other programs when I run WOW because I only have 1.5Gb of ram... so this is uncluttered for me...
