Spoiler: Character Sheet (click to show/hide)

A note on the rockets: I was intending to not have a limit to number of times fired, but be pretty much like three AT1s in a column.

How much would a 2-tube pod cost? I just want them to be considered short-to-medium range re-loadable rockets, and I can't see any logical reason to impose a 3-per-battle rule on them. If, logically, they have a reloading mechanism I can see no reason why they couldn't be fired as many times as until the magazines are empty, of course over an extended period of time due to reloading.

To clarify here, I'm talking about rockets, not missiles. No lock-on, no tracking, no heatseeking, no radar-guidance. Target needs to be either close or stationary to have a decent chance of hitting anything.

For the BMGs I just want a light anti-infantry weapon. I would even accept them doing no damage to a mech unless it's hitting a squishy part that's had its armor breached severely. I just want to be able to mow down the dude who has an RPG without sacrificing a missile to do the job.

Substances I had in mind (off the top of my head) were things like Sarin or Cyanide or Carbon Monoxide to kill the pilot with an injection shot to the cockpit. Thermite powder blasted in using compressed air to explode places. Another thing I was thinking of would be to vacuum the air/oxygen out of the cockpit, which would require for the stinger to stay in the cockpit until the job is done. Maybe also a highly corrosive acid.

May I ask why no suction cups? They seem like something that would be useful in a variety of situations.

Updated my sheet, still probably off by a bit
Also a question: If we take out an enemy mech, or at the end of a mission when we get paid do we get to use the money to buy more stuff for the MECs?

Alright. Thanks for clarifying.

The rockets can stay as they are, then.

Suction cups don't really have a use, because you won't be climbing many things, as the land is relatively flat in terms of MEC climbability, but you can keep them. What were you planning on using them for?

Yay! Rockets! Point cost as 20 each?

Maybe a mobility boost on rough terrain or to lower the cost of extremely rough terrain (if that's a thing) like cliffs, mountains, etc. Just seems like something that a bug-based mech would have

Yup. Rocket cost is 20.

Your multiple legs should be able to scale mountains, and you won't be required to climb cliffs, really.

Okay. The game will be starting on Sunday or after the weekend. Everyone who wants to join should get a sheet in by that time. Sorry if this is an unreasonable delay.

Alright ! Don't worry about the delay, it's already pretty great to set an approximative date for the start of the game. Looking forward to it.

medium humanoid
mounted lazor turrent
sword
metal round shield (you havent given me a price for this yet so im just going to go with 3O. tell me if thats not enough or to much)
heightend control sensitivity
free- basic heat dispersing system and coolant
temporary thrusters

(10 points left over.)

this mech, nicknamed "gladiator" could almost pass as a light type. it has a head on top that feeds visual to a screen in the cockpit, and its shoulders sits right where you would expect them to.
the round shield in its left hand is painted to resemble bronze, this with its sword evokes and image of an ancient warror. hence the name gladiator.
its turent is placed on its back but can rotate to fire forwards over the shoulders.
its heads visor glows red.
its body is white with red lines provideing some detail

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
name: leo
- a young piolt known for bringing a sword to a gun fight, how he actualy got the mech is unkown. some say he was born into a wealthy family, others say he stole it, and a few claim he built it himself. his tendency to go agianst orders when he belives there is a better option earned him his callsign.

callsign: rouge.

MechBattle System Test: IC is up!

The fearsome Wolf Patrol had been patrolling for as long as the oldest of the mercenary groups, having so many members that it could probably take on the planetside forces of the Empire at one point. That, however, is in the past.

You six are the last remaining members of the Wolf Patrol after a disastrous and disgustingly effective mole gave away the positions of the leaders of the group, leading to them being gunned down, even with the hulking, shielded MEC's surrounding them. The rest followed quickly, expiring after being disoriented following the destruction of the hierarchy. You managed to escape the aftermath in your MEC's and hightailed it back to the last safe haven for the Patrol: the town of Gealf, a small, isolated place on a jungle planet.

You are all sitting in a small room, the only accommodations you could get, next to the loading dock with it's huge garage, where your MEC's are staying.

Endlessblaze, Immaterial, Kasshyk, Nakéen, Insanegame27 and Zormod are in!

((You guys can talk for a bit. How do you change a topics name?))

((Just found this, any chance I could squeeze in? Or did I just miss the cutoff?
Or could I even come into this from an encounter with the remnants or something later on? Cause honestly, this seems cool as shit and I'd love to be part of it.))

((to change a topic name, just modify your first post and change the subject))

Langton Sei, pilot of the "Spiderman", is sitting cross-legged on the table and playing with the keys of his MEC.

He laughs with a sarcastic tone.

"So here we are heh ? The great Wolf Patrol ! Most feared mercenary group across many star systems ! A force that will surely change the tide of the war they said !"

Zach grunts, sounding somewhat amused at Langton, somewhat pissed off and somewhat lost in memory.
