Yeah, I'm positive I'm in the quintillions. Thanks to RTS combined with playing... many, many games. Diablo probably hasn't helped to that count. Or having played Borderlands a lot. Or Luftrausers...

Or EVE online. I remember a few speculation threads about crew numbers on the various classes of ships and it really adds up if there's a few thousands people on each battleship. I never really went into pvp, but I farmed a lot of NPCs.
All EVE ships apparently used to have a crew member count in the description, which started at dozens, then quickly went into thousands, tens of thousands, and hundreds of thousands for large ships. CCP removed this from the description because of some combination of it confusing people ("I have 1000 crew members? Does that stat do anything?") and not wanting people to think about the fact that they were committing mass murder every time they popped a destroyer. They never said, though, that ships don't have crews, so presumably it's still canon that they do, just how many isn't shown in the ship description anymore.

Ships have crew counts in start trek online too iirc, but as you take damage your crew count drops towards zero. It comes back up over time, though. I think it's supposed to represent crew being wounded rather than killed.

Of course, your ship also respawns if it explodes so maybe logic isn't really relevant.

Well, technically, its not murder if the ship is a military vessel... same deal for military personal.

I don't consider insects who dwell beneath my feet to be NPCs, but lessers who the universe won't miss after their planets are turned to glowing rock.

That having been said, counting Plague Inc, 4x space games, Aurora, and Warlords Battlecry (The swarms!), I've done terrible, terrible things. D:

I get the most satisfaction in games like Hitman or Manhunt, though. Dynasty Warriors, while having a genocidal bent to it, just doesn't have the same effect as putting a plastic bag over someone's head until they stop twitching.

Also, 4x RTS games where people have names is always hilarious. So many dead.

Yeah, and I wasn't exactly honorable always. Nuclear bombardment. Personal executions. Torture. I was no better than any of my ancestors. I proved my primitive nature/nurture. I've really been getting into gardening.

The only games I know where you can kill God are JRPGs where you have to go through a LOT of other enemies to get to Him :P

I'm awful at terror missions. Chryssalids are skittery little fuckers, and smart enough to run away unless they're cornered (and with their move range, they're almost never cornered).

That and I maybe perhaps might have accidentally just kinda blown a family to itty bitty chunks with a rocket that was aimed at a group of Sectoids.

If we include 4X's probably hitting the Quadrillions level.
If only including those personally killed, but including mooks and the faceless masses, probably well into the billions mark.
If only counting those with individual personality and character, probably only in the few thousands range.

On the other hand, how many do erasing the universe score? (Stalker, monolith destruction ending, a few others where you can accidentally the world/galaxy/universe)

Well, slaughtering the civilians was standard practice for terror missions with Snakemen in Oldcom. Otherwise you'd get overwhelmed in a chitinous tide of 'lids.
