How did Spore keep its population counts? Because I nuked a ton of planets. It's debatable how many of those were animals (or giant penii posing as animals) and how many were sentient. But it still would have been a lot.

Anyway, good point about the 4X stuffs and such. Didn't even take that into account when I made the OP. That puts me at roughly infinity quintillion.
I mean, the original 4-5 million estimate was pretty much "ones I've killed in a rather personal manner" so yeah.

Depends. If you include faceless enemies, then probably in the millions. No remorse on that front, really. I have no compunctions about, say, farming Ordinators for their armour in Morrowind. But what I think of as NPCs[Named peaceful characters], I've probably only killed hundreds or thousands. Some by accident, some because they annoyed me and others because I wanted to advance some quest or try out a different path. I've definitely done stuff like drown entire migrant waves if I thought they'd overpopulate my fort. I haven't been doing that nearly as much lately, though[I blame goat-mom]. So I guess several virtual worlds probably breathed sighs of relief that the various capricious murderhobo incarnations of me have mostly ceased culling the general population.

Why would you need to farm Ordinators? Wouldn't you get a full set from just one, excluding the different kinds of helmets?

Come to think of it, if we're counting it that way, I played the Empire in a campaign of Star Wars: Empire at War. I built the Death Star and used it more than a dozen times, so that would probably be the winner for "most deaths I've been responsible for in the game".

Hah. I remember once I destroyed literally every planet on the map with the thing, I think I had the rebellion on easy and I wanted to see what would happen if I did. That'd be a rather high one.

Gandhi isnt actually altogether agressive, im pretty sure hes got a very peaceful stat actually, but if you mistreat him i think the Devs have his pissed-off meter at like x10 compared to others.

Apologies. For the most part, my strategy does play like Gandhi. For most of the game, I end up peaceful, but somewhere along the line I tend to snap and just start going nuclear on my nearby neighbors. Sometimes literally nuclear. It doesn't matter how I had playing up until that point. If they are asking for it, I go to war with them.

But yes. Gandhi. Never trust Gandhi...
