Line of Defense is a FPS MMO by 3000AD, otherwise known as Derek Smart's game production company.

With the recent release of the major .07 patch, we are planning on doing a freeplay stress test weekend. This will help us get some test and performance metrics which will prove useful for our next major release: ground vehicles.

Right now, the game is basically really, really negative in steam reviews. Then again, Derek Smart (thats the third one!) is by now followed around by people who just trash everything he does regardless. While I've seen a video or two, I have no idea if the game is really completely terrible or if there were bad circumstances at the time, or whatever.
Since its a free weekend, I guess heres the chance to find out for yourself, plus its a 'stress test' so I guess it kinda helps them too. Maybe.
Thread rules: if you gotta talk shit, talk shit about the game, not the developer or his old games. Seriously, thats been done enough and you know what happens.
