The HQ of the business that is frequently contracted to replenish dungeons, abandoned space-stations, ruined cities and the like. They cater for everything from surprisingly refreshing items of food and drink, via first-aid kits/healing potions through to items of armour/shielding, batteries, fuel cannisters, random building resources, gems, coins, credit-chips, eggs of all kinds (edible and/or hatchable and/or imminently hatching), random vermin, not-so-random predators and even have a fine line in mini-bosses (mystical, technical, techno-mystical, æthereal, elemental, dæmonic, piratical, robotic, ninjaing, undead and ninja-pirate-zombie-robotic) plus a whole division dedicated to keeping the mini-bosses amused and 'alive' during the long waits (perhaps of æons!) before they have anyone else arrive in order to try to boss (minily!)...
They have a whole library of indecipherable maps indicating all the necessary secret switches needed to access anywhere their people need to enter (and the super-secret switches that reset everything back to "puzzling", as they leave), a very good canteen (hardly used) and a "Situations Vacant" board that takes up a surprisingly large stretch of wall.
If you spend some time poking around on the latter, you may well find a small, dusty and faded card entitled "Dungeons Of Doom resupply operative needed, no experience necessary, immunity from mad magic a bonus" and some details in very small letters. It promises a very good pension scheme*, a moderately good healthcare scheme** and a barely sufficient work-clothing allowance***.
* Well funded, hardly tapped into
** Hospital/apothecary visits only, no call-outs
*** Mostly cast-off items rejected by actual adventurers as being not fire/cold/lifesapping-proof enough to actually help manhandle a fire-wraith/haunted-snowman/soul-leach.
