With this updated script, is the GUI already operational? or should we do it the traditional way again? I consult because it is in view to publish a fool-proof-tutorial

First thanks for your help @insolor, I executed the command as you mentioned to @Rech44 but how do I apply the translation to .exe?

In the old tutorial you had to run dfrus.py but it shows me an error when I do it. I suppose that again the command has changed but I can't do it.

Most of the utilities are python packages now, so they need to be executed with -m key:

python -m dfrus.dfrus -p "Dwarf Fortress.exe" -d dict.csv --codepage cp850

Unfortunately, it looks like dfrus itself is broken beyond repair. Recently I tried to find a working version of it but failed. I'll try to make a working version of a "new" dfrus in the near future (in a couple of weeks or so).

Hola buenas, llevo tiempo interesado en el proyecto y al fin me animé a participar. Además, me pareció una buena forma de seguir aprendiendo en estos temas.

Y después de la presentación os comento que estuve intentando poner la traducción de la forma manual. Fui toqueteando un poco para "arreglar" los problemas que han tenido @Seigeki y @Rech44 y al final parece que se solventaron los de ese tipo.

Ejecutando dfrus.py llega hasta este punto:


y después de más lineas de bytearrays llega este error:


De nuevo intenté arreglarlo pero no lo logré, aunque lo seguiré intentando. Aquí os dejo hasta donde llegué, por si es de ayuda.

Gracias @severo he visto que @insolor actualizó algo en su github y me animé a probarlo  y he visto que da más o menos el mismo error, he probado intentando cambiar varias opciones pero con el mismo resultado.




Nuevamente agradecer el esfuerzo de todos por intentar traer este juegazo en castellano. Y sobre todo a @insolor por aguantarnos tantas preguntas y lo pesados que llegamos a ser.

Unfortunately, exe patching is still broken.
There was a fix for the Vietnamese encoding, some other minor fixes (GUI, configuration, error handling), and some refactoring (mostly just moving things around). I'm going to fix the patching of packed files on the "Translate external files" tab, then make basic instructions for the Russian speaking colleges, and then I'll try to make dfrus64 work (at last).
Sorry for the slow progress, and thank you for your patience.

Buenas @Sanchezsangros (y bienvenido.. creo q eres nuevo por aqui).
La verdad es que no entiendo a que te refieres con "acceso igual que antaño".
Cualquier persona que forme parte del proyecto puede acceder.
