Hmm, it seems that the dorfs are too far away from your field of influence. You couldn't quite have fun with portals that far.. well, not unless you have a few Knights of your own to go act as a relay for your powers.

S.A.P. avoids just blind wandering for now, but a good way of potentially gain food for his pawns is to guard the way that the Dwarfs came in ((Assuming an alarm like that will be common spread knowledge)) and, will his creatures to climb the walls and keep an eye out for more intruders.
