Reverse.  The.  Polarity.
What is that supposed to mean?

No.
Nonono.
Reverse the polarity of the engines.
This will decelerate the ship until it stops.  THEN radio the interceptors.  Free ship!

You do realize that polarity is essentially only referring to electro-magnetism and gravity, right?

Yes.  I also realize that it's going to work anyway.

Make the engine exhaust go the other way? Into the ship? That's what you hope rocket engines DONT do.

But wait, he may be banking on this being propelled by a gravity drive! If it is, then this might just work. Then again, anything else and we are littlerally toast.

It's powered by a black hole.

Yes, but if they have enough power to sustain the containment field, they also have enough power to create a gravity field pointing forward relative to the ship. If we reverse polarity on that, it would slow the ship. Otherwise, toast.

More or less soliloquy.

The ship's reactor is powered by a black hole. The ship gets all its energy from black hole radiation. The engines were meant to be chemical rockets.

Regardless, only the master can control the navigation of the ship.

Let's disconnect the power supply. To everything. Shoot the main power conduit in half. Then, make a power dash through whatever area of the selfulm is least concentrated, making sure that we get as little exposure to them as possible, dash out the door and call the entire space fleet to connect with the outside of the mother ship and start a retrograde burn to offset the speed of the ship. We may just be able to thwart the plan.
