Adventure mode !SCIENCE! thread.

SO it has come to my attention that we really need to do some !SCIENCE! to figure out how world activation effects the players ability to, for example kill off the world.
I figured I would make a super thread for it, since we are still unsure exactly what effect reputation (and a bunch of the other new adventure mode mechanics from version 40.xx onward.)/World Activation effect the game.
and many other questions.

Experiment One: Killing the world.
(I will begin this experiment tonight)

Experimental !SCIENCE! world for this experiment , a world that was simmed for exactly 2 years with 5 civilzations


According to legends viewer the effective population of the only human hamlet in the world is 96 humans.
Which means at 96 human kills, I would be expected to have killed them all.

Can we effect population and usher in the "age of death" anymore?

I asked the question on the FOTF reply, but we need answers sooner then that don't we!

Part 1:
Kill All Humans
I was successful in my efforts at depopulating the hamlet.
I killed everyone in it , and afterwords I was only able to start as a outsider, therefore the civilization was destroyed. It didn't spawn anyone out of thin air to stay around, it was exactly as I expected.

As you can see that hamlet no longer has any humans living in it, and is therefore not a human hamlet, and I can only play as a human if I am an outsider now.

Experiment One: Killing the world.

Do it in an age 100 large world or you're a coward.
In fact, I attempted this. Legendary in almost every fighting skill, and everything was superhuman, gave up during a clown fight from lag, WAY too many goblins. Not that I got close to dying at all, but the lag was unbearable.

Also, killing everyone just starts an "Age of Death" pretty much.

i don't think its even doable in a 100 year large world unless you're an elephant man or something redman

eventually you just come across that steel or even just amber hill titan quadruped that shoots webs(happened to me once) and breaks every bone in your body by wrestling while you take 20 turns to get out of the web and its game over, and undead minions won't help you since it's not organic

now as for performing such a feat with living allies, thats a different story

That isn't difficult or SCIENCE. The experiment is to determine one thing only, and machismo isn't it.

I'm ON THAT EXPERIMENT FOR MONTHS, one person said to just retire them but they haven't shown photo proof of this working and said toady mention it.
so far I'm Skipping marriage and just going for adventurer animal nonsense.
oh and you can transform a creature into another creature race to get them to breed that creature.
like turn a cat into a dragon will deliver dragon spawns, or cat to dwarf if you want more dwarves?

Actually, the mighty human vampire, KORGOTH, got thousands of kills, and could pretty much kill anything. In fact I actually did kill a bronze collosus with one arm and a copper halberd, Korgoth was just that tough. He wasn't even a necromancer, he killed the necromancer master, and killed all the undead before he became a vampire, in fact the only reason I became one was because his rigt arm's motor nerves got sliced, and I needed a were transformation. Wont get into it any more though, it's off topic anyways.

has anyone got screenshot proof of this outside of toady saying so?
like I moved 2 albratross adventurer people back in 05 and the only dreams that had been achieved is the brewer woman because I didn't set that to raise a family

There is a screenshot someone posted that would prove this, if it's not from a modded game. Almost certain I saw it on this forum, but may possibly have been Reddit I suppose. It's a shot of an adventurer talking with one of his children who he discovered after unretiring. The kid is saying something obvious like 'You are my father'.

man that sounds random as hell like world gen just gave the person a kid.
like that's like asking for a night troll to kidnap your adventurer so you can finally play as one.
