It comes from the word anima which means animate animu is spelled anime but is said animu mecha is mechanical based and humongous they are but I can't tell you anything important.

Animated as in quick or fast really because they are things that are piloted and while they will be sentient in a little for now though who or what could I have piloting such ridiculous things when I made them today?

(3) alas the golem isn't giant, he more or less has become a man sized golem, he is still very deadly however (4) the golem seems to be fond of children
