"....Mother has one of those.....where do you get them?"

"Sure baldy will do as the first to die."
With a playful shove she nudges Bastions towards the cave.
"Go forth our brave hero."

"Nah he'll be fine"

"As much as I want to tell a great story of camaraderie from the previous war, its just that my right eye isn't as strong as it used to be. No worries however, it is snugly fit close to my beautiful bald head."
Bastion then takes a stance towards the cave, ready to move forward.

"Also, thanks for the assurance, I won't let you down"

Jezzail also begin walking towards the cave. She lifted a hand, and a small ball of light appeared at her fingertips to light the way.

"How about the rest of your earn your pay and go as well?"

Shion holds her nose then heads towards the cave to enter it.

"Fine let's get through this place quickly."

Sprook takes out his knife and follows Jezzail casually.




"Yeah unless anyone has something to say let's go."

The mercenaries descended into the tunnels. As they went deeper in, the cavern system became more and more labyrinthine, an issue made even worse by the fact that they soon had to rely on Jezzail's magic for light. Thankfully Andrew had a couple torches in his backpack that he handed out.

The party continued to follow the merchant's lead. He still seemed confident that he knew where he was going at the very least. Until...

“I have absolutely no idea where we are!” he announced, his voice echoing throughout the large cave they had stopped in.

"Yes please repeat yourself"

“I must have taken a wrong turn somewhere around here.” he admitted, pulling out the map. “I'm pretty sure we should have been on the other side by now...”

Brecht extended a hand, clearly infuriated. "Hand me the map. Now. I will determine where we've ended up."

"If were lost we might aswell turn back or blast our way through, unless the mister is incapable of reading a map."

“Sure Brecht!" he said, as he handed the map over to him.

The first thing Brecht noticed after taking it was that Andrew had been holding the map turned ninety degrees on its side.

Sprook sighs frustrated and clenches his brow before relaxing it.




"I really shoulda been marking the walls so we wouldn't get lost."

"Well at least we won't need to dig a grave once we starve to death. We're already underground."

Sprook shrugs and in a frustratingly cheerfull tone.




"Dont worry I'd collapse the cave before that"
