Title makes it pretty self explanatory. I've tried two different embarks at the same site with some evil to create undead (since its only fun with zombies). Started out pretty well, everyone had been able to get underground with exception of my lone woodcutter, who, while doing her duties, took time to punch undead raven corpses in the face and then go about her merry way. A couple of other dwarves, while attempting to flee underground, also had the exp of punching birds in the face, and by the time the vile fiend arrived, i had about 20 punched up raven kills shared between 4 or 5 dwarves. I was ready. Or so i thought.
It wasn't until a couple minutes later i realized she hadn't come in for a while (Set her to woodcutter and just her hauling so as to keep the rest safe). I sent out a lone dwarf and what did i find? Her mutilated corpse, the perp none other than a lone undead sturgeon. I foolishy sent my remaning embark party equipped with nothing more than their fists, an axe or two, and sheer dwarfpower. But Slippeddents "The Burdens of Listening" killed each and everyone of them by smashing their heads in with his tail or propelling them so hard with the blunt force trauma of his scaly body that they broke bones... and then got their heads smashed in.
The second embark, I had 3 dwarves armed (the other 4 cowering below) with shields and hammers but they fared no better, and they were immediately struck down by this monstrosity of a fish. Maybe i should've brought helmets...
My 3rd reclaim embark I'm just going to run underground and hide, praying to ARMOK none of the now 14 dwarf corpses rise from their shallow graves, led by this undead fiend. I think my best bets are traps vs such a being.
