I figured XD
Also after taking two engineering courses and a physics class (which made me use both systems). I can say that without a single doubt no matter what metric is so much better

Also, Cryxis, have you looked at O'Neill cylinders as an idea for space habitats that use centrifugal force to make gravity?

What part of it? Using two cylinders rotating opposite eachother or keeping the whole thing in a single tube instead of overlapping rings?

Another question just came to me, could you use a traditional reactor/turbine system in zero gravity?

Not if it relies on convection effects, no.

Would it work under the effects of artificial gravity?

You wouldn't want something important to rely on the rotating sections actually rotating.  Especially not if it is somehow involved in generating the power for rotation.

"Okay, the manual says to grab the Manual Rotation Handle and rotate the section three full turns."

You would be better off using a pump driven system rather than one relying on convection.

Alright next question how would you use these reactors to generate energy in zero gravity? As far as I can tell a turbine wouldn't be usable correct?

Also with the previous thought there would be multiple reactors and the system would be "spun" prior to entering space... Nope that probably wouldn't be a good idea either nevermind

No, a turbine would be fine, if you could build a pressure gradient (in some way, maybe via clever valves and compression/cooling...) enough to actually spin it.

Alternatively, you could go with radioisotope thermoelectric generators: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radioisotope_thermoelectric_generator . Far less mucking around with mechanical bits.

Just keep it about the cookie. Have the rest of humanity be noticeably in the background but mostly tell us about this cookie, and keep it over the top, and you will write a cult hit.
