Suggestion to chopper pilot: Land behind the store to the lower left, so we can disembark in cover.

((Suggestion to teammates: Advancing along the southern edge looks like you can move forward in cover, maybe getting a flanking position.))

Fire at the alien pretty much in the middle of the civilians.
Cry due to likely failure.

Map coordinates apply

"left" to the chopper would be north. South would be to your right.

((@Aigre Thanks!

@ERRANT Huh. So, where are we disembarking? Just beyond the rooftop edge, or deeper in/closer to the enemy? ("On top of the UFO", as was suggested at some point?) Edit: syvarris made a suggestion. Hmmm. ))

Remrud [syv], another shot while we close in?

Grumble, groan, and facepalm at my teammate's bad shooting/poor decision-making skills. Wait until the chopper lands to disembark and ready my weapon.

Wait for landing. Can't exactly exit mid-air.

Actually I'll get some movement done to get you guys off the damn wobbly chopper.

Sweet fucking Christ my IRA relatives caused less civie deaths then us. Fuck.
Patch up Cody using medical equipment.

You bandage the Cody as best you can.

The copper sets down on the west side of the roof, vomits its load, and limps home.

"Fuck!  Hold fire 'til you're on the ground, chopper's far too unsteady!"

Unlatch my M14 from the heli, then wield my shotgun.  Be one of the first to disembark (are we fastroping or landing?), and clear the immediate vicinity before taking cover.  If there's no nearby enemies, swap back to M14 once I'm in cover, and try and take out one of the grays with a human shield.

((Also, are we using the ER roll system, or the traditional RTD system?  If I took Egan's pistol, and got a 2 while shooting it, how would my shot be different from Egan taking that shot?))

Processing half a turn here. You disembark and scramble for some area cover.

Frag 'em? Civvies 'd be patched up later.        ...Maybe.

JHP Magazine is loaded. Be ready to disembark third. Upon landing, hip-fire (single burst) at nearest alien while taking cover. EDIT: Map updated.

You disembark and hit the deck too.

"Shit! Oh, Fuck! Holy fucking shit!"

Yeah, no more shooting here. Move away from the gun.

You are dragged out of the chopper with all your gear.

Grumble, groan, and facepalm at my teammate's bad shooting/poor decision-making skills. Wait until the chopper lands to disembark and ready my weapon.

"You idiots! PROTECT THE CIVILIANS! I mean, seriously, stop shooting them!"

You disembark and get into available cover too.

((Ahhaha fuck.))
"FUCKING WATCH YOUR FIRE! PILOT, BRING US IN TO LAND!"
Yell at people. Wish this were a 40K setting so I could field-execute people.

Fire at the alien pretty much in the middle of the civilians.
Cry due to likely failure.

Xaneail Swagoligin yells hysterically. But John Denning has his ears stuck. [2+1]

John takes the shot, and blows the left arm of the alien taking cover behind a pile of civilians clean off. He also miraculously avoids any further collateral damage.

((Oh, I thought it wasn't necessary to post since there's not much to do, besides wait to land.))
Wait for landing. Can't exactly exit mid-air.

You get off the chopper and get into cover.

William Cornelius Clive Muldoon gets off as well.

This was a half turn with no fire-exchange. Just some quick disembarks. Exception for the brainiac who took a shot. You're all disembarked on the west side of the roof, hugging whatever area cover you can find.

The next turn will involve full maneuvers with fire exchange. Your move, ERRANT.

Here's a cheat sheet with the aliens' exact designations.
