Thanks! FPS hovers around 10 for the most part, which isn't bad considering how long it's been running. Also, almost 25,000 clear glass blocks have been used, the dead/missing list is up to 4,500, and there's now two water falls tumbling continuously into the eerie glowing pits of hell. Goblin sieges are also up to about 2 every year, which requires lots of clean-up.

Thats truly amazing, yes!
Hope this will go on for at least another 220 years, if not even longer.

When do you think are you going to try to boost your FPS a bit again?
10 FPS would bug me already tbh.
I think my Laptop would've given into pain already way before my fort would've reached 100 years though.

Well, I regularly atom smash the garbage and dump just about anything I don't need, so I don't think FPS can really get much better than this. Unless of course I kill of most of population and bring the fort back down to 30ish. But I'm going to cap the population at 145 so it'll probably chug along at 10 until I've built the whole thing. It doesn't really bother me, as it usually just runs in the background and I check in every 30 minutes or so, bark some orders, and then get back to whatever else in doing

I just thought I'd check this out, and then I got to the line-
"And we're building this fort in Hell."
And now I'm hooked.
Postin' to watch. Good luck.

Soonish? These constructions take quite a while to make and clear glass is definitely not the fastest building material to produce.

Thanks again for all the compliments! I appreciate everyone's interest.

When i wasn't registered on this forum, i've read this thread 5 times. Now it's 10th time i've read this thread, and i want to say that's most glorious fortress i've ever seen. Keep up the good work, dwarfbro!

BTW, sketch of clear glass tower reminded me of "The Drill" episode of A:TLA somehow.

This is really nothing short of amazing. Best of luck, can't wait to see how the megabeasts are handled.
