The bartender gives you a hardy laugh and hands you the room key with a sign on it saying "RETURN KEY BEFORE LEAVING"
"First door on the right in the back."

You quickly make your way to your room and search around.



Your bed's a mess, the pillow even fell down from the bed. It seems that you left your belongings below it when you went to sleep last night.



You found a gold coin and 3 silver coins, 8 dwarf bucks worth of money aswell as a dagger.

So your total inventory is 8 dwarf bucks, a dagger, the room key... and the mug you forgot to return.

You look under the bed while scouring your fairly plain room for clues about your past.



Under your bed is a bag with a giant M on it, probably for Mestock.
There is also a sleeping person facing toward the wall, at first glance you thought the person was dead but you can hear them softly snoring.

You decided to grab the bag before dealing with the person.
Inside the bag you pull out a letter.



Apparently its from your mother.

Wake the sleeping person, who is your wife. the two of you save the world from a necromancer.

Walk quietly to the sleeping person, and wake them.

You decide to wake up the sleeping person by tossing your pillow at them.



Almost immediately after you hit the sleeper it disappears and reappears behind you, you feel a gust of wind as they run by you with incredible speed.
You are presented with a cheery elf who greets you with a cheerful voice.

Threaten the knife-eared ninja-hobo with your dagger and demand that they answer your questions.

Oh, and uh, ask them some plot-related questions or something.

As a side note, I vote for the elf's name to be Sanic Quickbottom.
