Sub-Turn 68.09:
Stormslayer the Aradian Mirage Beetle Mystic"This is not the end! I Will have vengeance!"
Stormslayer would drop Garm, and take a quick blow at their head to try and knock them out before he throws himself into combat with the remainder of the human army, knowing that even though he is outmatched that he will not let the sacrifice of the sylvarians go to waste. He would eliminate the fortress, even if it meant meeting his end as well. Once again, he would try to absorb any essence that is released during combat. He would be especially watchful of the remaining mages.
[3] You dropped Garm and administrated a quick blow to his head. Though with your force, you probably caused a serious concussion.
Afterward, you looked around you. Humans were everywhere, all looking at you and at the ready. Like the featured star of a spectacle, all the gazes turned toward you and you felt the pressure of the audience.
You wouldn't go out without a bang, would you ?
[1] You decided to throw yourself into battle, fighting until the end. But don't worry, battle came to you, in the form of a tidal wave of metal. Thankfully in a way, with so many humans around you, the battlemagi shouldn't try to unleash area-wide spells.
Overwhelmed. A dozen from the front, another from the rear, two more from the sides. Such a hopeless situation...
Those damn humans. They didn't even give you the luxury of initiative.
Human Rolls:
Front [5]: [5, 1, 2, 4, 4]
Left [3]: [6, 4, 6]
Right [2]: [5, 3]
Rear [2]: [6, 6]
First two humans rushed at you from the front recklessly.
[4] Hotblooded and battle-hungry, they seemed young and less armored than main knights. Before they could even strike you, you moved preemptively : a powerful claw to throw the first one on the second, and finally a heavy stomp to crush the downed one.
One down and mortally wounded / One down and badly wounded
Then the second wave came immediately after : four axemen coming from the left (2) and the back (2).
[1] They were incredibly fast despite their large axes and heavy armor. They showed a great deal of might, proficiency and accuracy in their strikes. First they aimed for your legs, to cripple you. Then they aimed for your arms, to weaken you. You couldn't defend yourself easily from the simultaneous attacks.
Though they were so brutal they hacked apart the two downed soldiers accidentally.
Two humans down +2 Essences
You lose 5MP
You lose 15HP
Legs crippled / Arms wounded
Then the three swordsmen remaining at the front advanced toward you, as you flailed wildly to strike the axemen.
[5] On the verge of death, you felt your perception of time slow down. Your blood pumping hard, despite your gaping wounds. Your life rewinding in your mind. You felt everything, saw everything.
Adrenaline Rush activated.
Animated with a sudden and incredible burst of speed and strength, you stood up and lashed at the nearby axemen first.
Axemen: [4, 5, 4, 4] You swept them with an incredible strength, throwing them far from you. But you didn't manage to wound them seriously, they landed and softened the impact with incredible agility.
Swordsmen: [5, 5, 1] You rushed forward and grabbed one of the surprised soldier, crushing its head with your claw.
One human down +1 Essence
Then you tried to crush the two other swordsmen, but too late-
-there were two swords in your sides.
You lose 2HP. You are dead
Stormslayer's heavy body suddenly fell on the ground in a kneeling position. He felt the spark of life he was clinging to trying to escape.
No. Not like this. What about his revenge ? His kin...his queen... he couldn't die like this... Not like this.
Fate Roll: [1]
As sad as it was, it was really the end. Stormslayer didn't even feel the stabbing spears and blades in his flesh. He was just left there, hoping for some miracle.
For something.
Anything.
Nothing came. And his life extinguished like a frail candle.
[So so. That was an incredible streak of unluck, Humans got all the good rolls apart from three unlucky ones.
Seeing you gathered 40 Essence total (2+5+10+20+3), if you choose to start anew you will have 20 Essence, making you a stage 2 directly.]

Ulkas the Sorcerous Osyluth of Lies((Humans may pose a great obstacle in a way of advancing Neodemonium armies. If demons roll even remotedly as badly as Sylvarians did, Ulkas and Astrosa may need to resurrect Malderuine before killing him (once again).
I had a sad laugh over Ako and Fica fate rolls. At very least, they died together, leading their brethren to the bitter end.
As for gender question... Do you really need to ask? ))
"Interesting. Initially, I thought that power level directly correlates with the essence absorbed, yet it seems untrue in case of spirits. You're right, we'll get nothing from them. Let's move onwards. We'll find something more suitable for our taste soon, I am sure."
She nodded, and you continued your journey, ignoring the Spirit Giants and the Spirit Trees at the Nodi.
[4] After a good moment of only flying, you exited the hills and once again saw the vast plains. In the far distance, you could see what looked like a large human town. Looking around more, you saw some woods, some plains, and some villages. There is a large road leading to the city, apart from this one you can't see many roads close to you.

Dahak the Fear Lord((I am a male minor deity of furniture integrity))
I DIDN'T THINK I WOULD ACTUALY HIT HIM WHAT THE HELL
Dahak realizes he probably shouldn't have taunted his own luck, it didn't go well in the past.
ITS HIS FAULT FOR BEING IN THE WAY ANYWAY. STEP ON IT, FARMGIRL
Dahak decides its time to bail out. He screams at the giant as they move away, trying to apologize.
LOOK I DIDN'T WANT TO HIT YOU, AND MAYBE IF YOU ATE MORE CABBAGE YOU WOULD BE ALIVE INSTEAD OF A BIG SPIRIT JERK RIGHT NOW
GET AWAY. Hopefuly the cart mule is feeling inspired.
[3] "Step on what ?" asks Delinde puzzled, as she furiously whips the shackles and shouts at the mule to move her fat rear.
The mule isn't getting exceptionally fast, this is breaking all the tension of the moment. And behind, the Giant is coming.
Giant: [4] And he is pretty fast ! His ectoplasmic body circles around trees, and boulders, without breaking them. Then he attempts to grab you angrily !
Giant: [6]
Cart: [1]
The huge hand surrounds the whole cart, and take a denser form to grab it. The Giant grabs the cart and you in the process, but it exposes him to your -Fear Aura-.
The Giant freaks out and throw you all in the air.
Do you fly ? You quickly look underneath as you are flying upward leaving a vegetable trail behind, and firmly grabbing at the cart : holy moly this is high and you are going so fast aaaah

Caedan the Bloody Impaler"It's no problem. I have also changed my speech color because the GM carelessly stole my previous one."
"No need to thank me. I'll be watching over you, so just rest as much as you need."
Let them rest. If Firande wants to chat, then indulge her. If she has questions, answer them. In the meantime, try to make as much sense out of the torn map as possible. Watch for any threats. Once my companions are rested up, we resume our journey.
"Yeah what a jerk. Thinking he can monopolize color speech because he is the GM"
"Thank you, I am sure no harm could happen to us with someone as strong as you protecting us."
She doesn't seem to have question, until she asks :
"Excuse me but... it may seem strange for a human to ask this, but what does it feel... to be a monster ? How is your life ? Do you have a family ? Friends ?"
Her questions actually leave you with questions. Such a strange girl, for a peasant she seems curious and with a strong inner force. I mean, you just killed fifteen men in a flash.
[3] You listen to her question, still looking at the map. You grumble as it is barely readable, but can still figure out some parts.
You see Eastarm near the east edge of the map. Then there are some spots around, probably villages. And a big green spot further west from where you must be, with some elevation around.
Probably a forest area with some small mountains around.
