Sub-Turn 68.08: Question to all, what is your gender if you have one ? [Better late than never haha]
Gray the Metalslinger and Glint the True Arcanivore"You two wanted to ally with humans, right? This looks like a second chance to me."
Grey looks human-ish, right? Ask him to approach and attempt contact with the humans. Assuming he agrees, stand by and mesmerize anyone who starts getting rowdy.
((But I want all of them! I was already thinking of an Elemental Body trait, was gonna name it like Sunsteel Body or Cold Iron Body or something depending on the elements I got, but with that I could do Prismetal Body. If I could only choose two, I guess I'd stick with Shadow/Light, since those seem unique somewhat. Maybe Twilight Mythril. I could be like Yin and Yang. But my associated skill would be easy, just adding on effects or properties/abilities to the bullets Gray shoots. Or I could go with Earth to make another skill that relies on STR instead of POW. Was gonna go with Adamantine body if I chose Earth.))
"Zzz...huh? More humans? Oh, a human and monster? Maybe this one will be easier since they seem to be getting along. And maybe his monster buddy could translate. I feel like the humans from earlier didn't quite understand us."
Go greet the human/monster pair. Call out to them as I approach.
"Hi human, and monster I don't know! I'm Gray. I'm friendly. Can we please not fight? Maybe we could even be friends! You want to join us at the oasis over there? They won't eat you, I promise."
((After much thinking, you can take all of them if you want ! The evolution system is meant to feel fun and free, so go on, try just to not go overboard and stay reasonable. And of course, pray to the Dice !))
Glint woke up the slumbering Gray, telling him of what he just saw. Vagush arrived soon thereafter, overhearing the statement.
"Isn't that pointless ? I don't think I could believe communication with a human, that sounds crazy."
Glint reassures Vagush : they are only two and he will mesmerize them if needed.
"Won't your ability be less effective than usual during the night ? It seemed to me that it needed the light of the sun to properly work."
Glint wonders if Vagush has a point.
Anyway Gray confidently heads for the human and the monster, running to close the distance. His small feet raise some silvery sand, and leave a thin trail. He eventually reaches hearing distance and calls out for the duo.
They hear him clearly, now he just has to wait for their answer...
In the meantime Glint recovers 2HP

Roeway the Hell WolfGreet the Hell Wolves and hope they are recruiting rather then hunting
[4] You howl toward the incoming Hell Wolves, thus giving your name, situation, and asking what are they currently doing.

Ulkas the Sorcerous Osyluth of LiesUlkas glanced once more on the tree, tapped it in farewell gesture and flew back to Astrosa:
"Well, sort of. This tree is a cocoon with spirit inside it, tapping into power of the nodus. It might be possible for non-spiritual beings to use similar method to do this, yet it would be a lengthy process, which betrays the means in our case... All in all, those nodi are currently useless to us. Spirits have yet to gain notable strength, and powers of nodi can only serve to quickly regenerete magical reserves. Let us depart."
Fly elsewhere, since spiritual hills have some interesting information, but close to no ways to power.
"I agree, these place hold no value for us."
You pulled your hand out of the Spirit Tree, and the connection was severed. The Tree stayed motionless, continuing to absorb the Spiritual Energy of the ground.
And then you flew away, followed by Astrosa.
[6] As you flew away, further to the West, you and Astrosa noticed something strange. It seemed there was a Tree on every Nodus you came across. How strange.
Then you spotted many gigantic figures wandering seemingly aimlessly in the Inory Hills. Some strange giants made of transparent matter, with a gigantic hole in place of a mouth emitting a strong white light. Astrosa said :
"Those beings are very strong, but they hold nearly no Essence. Attacking them would make us waste time for now."
It has been a while so you recovered 3HP

Snehk the Unseen Find some place to recover.
Barely clinging on your life, you didn't wait to ask for more beating. You moved aside, in a safer place.
[Can't recover in active battle situation]
[3] You spotted some figure near you. Around at 10 meter from you.
I Sit down and consider writing a Book on whoever wins... if the Idiots don't come after me.
[6] You continue to watch the battle play out, with the undead decidedly being the victors as the strange man turns on his former comerades with illusions and a undead aura. You can feel that aura draining away some of your strength as well. You also notice the other undead are getting stronger with each kill, and scarily smart as they begin to perform complex maneuvers and tactics. You could almost swear that some of them are looking right at you occasionally to see what action you are going to take, if any.[-2 MP, -1 HP]
In the meantime, the Undead Abomination wails in the night. It is a sad and lost cry, with a hint of furor.
You spot more undead arriving from the front. There are bonemetal warriors, and misshapen undead abominations of various unknown types. You also notice some with potent magical powers.
The two bonemetal warriors that got thrown away stand back up and stand further to the side of the Abomination. One of them clearly shouts to the giant :
"What are you doing ?!"

Caedan the Bloody Impaler"I've no idea how to prove that. It's simply the most likely explanation. There's also the possibility that there are some humans that can absorb essence, but I've never heard of such a thing occuring."
Let them rest for a bit. Once they feel better, we continue west. Search the bandits first. Maybe they have something interesting on them (like a map).
You let them rest for a bit and go to examine the bodies and loot them of their possessions.
[6] You find a map, but it turns out your blood spikes torn it apart. It is barely readable, because of the blood and the destroyed part. Overall, all their belongings got turned into cheese.
+Acquired a bloodtorn map
You return to find Ramas asleep, and Firande lighting a fire. Oh right, humans need sleep. So Ramas is probably still part human in a way.
"Sir Caedan. I changed my speech color because I didn't like the old one, it made me feel as a tertiary character I'm feeling better, thanks."

Stormslayer the Aradian Mirage Beetle Mystic(humans seem to be really lucky when it comes to battles. I hate it.)
Snatching up garm while he is still semi submissive, I prepare to use my adrenaline rush to escape with my new captive, and once again attempt to absorb any essence nearby.
[1] You snatch up Garm's heavy body, and partially easily lift it. That armor sure is heavy, how the hell could he move with that ?!
You attempt to kick your adrenaline rush again, but you suddenly feel a backlash.
You fall to your knee. Urg. Did you overuse it ?... The humans are closing in around you, they were too busy fighting the Split Force but this isn't the case anymore...
Essence is brimming there. Even with the massive interferences, there is no way you couldn't absorb any...
[1] You witness a surprising occurrence : the Essence is getting absorbed...by the humans ?! Well, you never heard humans couldn't absorb Essence, but in a way, it shocks you. For some reason you expected humans to be unable to absorb it.
Sylvarian Choice: [2] The Sylvarians refuse to surrender and choose to fight until the end, despite the charge leader offer.
Sylvarian Commander Rolls :
Ako: [4] / Fica: [5]
Desperation beings out the last powers of the self. Bringing out all their remaining powers, Ako and Fica unleash a barrage of wood and vines upon the humans. They can only reach the Main Army though.

Sylvarian Rolls : Front Force: [2] (can only reach Main Army)
Human Rolls : Battlemagi Corps: [5] Main Army: [5]

The Sylvarian forces got eradicated. The battle is over, with the Sylvarian loss. Commanders fate:
Ako: [1]
Fica: [1] [ouch.]
Ako and Fica are unceremoniously executed. The end. [And thus the GM could never develop their passive aggressive belligerent sexual tension.]
(...)
Here you are. Surrounded by countless humans, tired, and alone. The Sylvarians left alive are unable to fight, and there are few chances the Humans will take prisoners.
Want to try something ? [Next turn will incur a Fate Roll if you end up in a life or death situation]

Dahak the Fear LordDahak just kinda... Stares at the thing. I mean, lots of weird things have been happening for a while now, but... Really? Giant transparent thing RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD FOR NO REASON?
As much as Dahak would love to use Nihil's "head" as a battering ram against this thing, he feels too lazy to do it. The thing isn't doing anything special, either, its just... There, being huge and annoying.
I didn't think I'd ever exist long enough to have a snorlax moment.
Dahak wonders what a snorlax might me. Whatever it is, it sounds very annoying.
I had enough of huge walls of strange semi transparent substance for a lifetime, thanks
Change course. Once you're far enough, try to throw a cabbage at the damn transparent thing.
[6] You change course, taking a convenient forking route. Then you throw a cabbage at the transparent thing with a strength surprising yourself. The cabbage flies high and fast, striking it on the head.
Of course immediately, the being turns toward you brusquely.
There is a huge gaping hole on its head, from which escape a blinding white light. Is that thing some kind of walking lighthouse ?!
It starts to walk angrily toward your cart.
"Dahak what the hell !" shouts Nihil and Delinde in unison.
[Also, you notice that the route you just took is a shortcut !]

ZoomochScoomtarto the Four-Eyed BeholderNow I think I'll float upwards for a bit and sleep away from everything else.
[6] You float upward carelessly, rising further into the unknown mountainous area. Right before going too high, you notice that there are a lot, and when I say a lot this is a craplot, of demons.
Let's hope they aren't hostile, and if they are, that they didn't spot you.

T946 the Security BotI do not like where this battle is going because of the fact that you are not in any condition to fight properly. This means that you can surrender here or you can continue fighting, it is your choice
Offer the golem a chance to surrender
If the answer is negative or the armored golem attacks, Use the taser on it
[2] You hear a strange electric "AH-AAAAH" coming from the Golem. Then the Golem talks :
R-R-REQ-QUEST ER-RR-ERRONED
Who said the Golem was in no condition to fight properly ?
The Golem advances toward you, its body shaking erratically, but its steps being far heavier and stronger than before. If you had to take a guess, it seems the Golem's limiters have been damaged at the same time as many other things.
You: [6] vs [5]
With a sliver of energy left, you shoot your taser again. The shot lands, and you zap it with your few mana left, making it shake and abruptly stop moving.
You lose 2MP
Then suddenly he moves again and grabs at the taser thread, and he sends a huge quantity of electrified mana comes back toyou ! The Golem is using your taser to taser yourself !
You: [1]
The huge electromana discharge overloads your systems, making you turn from security bot to light bulb. At that moment, you really wish you had more Resistance.
You lose 8HP
