Taking it out now seems like a bad idea. The tendrils are preventing you from taking it out, but it doesn't seem like they are eating at you. Maybe you should wait and try to recover some forces before attempting to violently pull it out.

"I commend the idea, but not every Sylvarians soldiers will be able to wear them. Humans morphology is different from us, and this metal gear is very cumbersome. It would require training to know how to move efficiently in it. All in all, we will give it a try but I this probably won't be game-chaging."
