T946 the Security Bot PrototypeNo point wasting time on stuff like why the humans abandoned me,
Go west or at least where I think it is until I encounter something interesting.
[5] Something is bidding you to go West, like an instinct of some sort. You wonder if it may be related to your programming, and begin pondering the reality of your free-will.
But your thoughts are suddenly interrupted by your visual sensors. They are telling you figures are in your line of sight at roughly 200 meter. You can make out five different creatures : two blobs, a quadruped, an humanoid and a centaurid.
Snehk the Stalker Disappear and silently claw at the weak spots. Bears should attack when things go wrong or when monster is distracted.
[4] You expose your plan to Barak and Bargar : you will launch a sneak attack to disorient the creature, and they will strike instantly after. They nod, the plan seems good and in a three versus one situation, it should go right.
You vanish in the shadow of the trees, and silently sneaks toward the strange monster.

You have no prior knowledge of this creature, so you make a wild guess about its wild spots. Its whole body seems pretty well protected, you try your chance at the side of the creature. You claw with strength, but the creature's skin is really hard, the wound you inflicted is more shallow than you expected. A black liquid like ink exudes from the wound, it's its blood.
"Aaargh ! What is this ?!" screams the monster.

Before the monster can get a grasp of what happened, two bear monsters jump into the fray. In tandem, their body markings glow strongly and a shining aura of energy wraps Bargar and Barak claws. And like if they were animated by the same soul, they unleash a stream of empowered claws at the unsuspecting monster with incredible coordination. They first aim at the legs to prevent it from fleeing, then at its sides to weaken it.
When the deadly dance is over, the monster's blood is spilled all over the place, and it lost usage of half its legs.

Caught off-guard, the monster reacts with panic and flays its tail around, hoping to fend off its assailants. But it only manages to make the three monsters take some distance, not even managing to hit them.
Some smoke seems to be coming out from its back holes.
"Who the hell are you ?!" he screams in rage and pain.

[5] ((Got your foot ? )) As the arm is severed from the main body, you drain the essence out of it. Surprisingly, there is a full unit of it inside.

You run away with the possessed arm, and the baffled being fails to follow you.
Around you, still the same environment. You notice some kind of strange formation at the top of a hill. Large upright boulders are disposed in some strange layout. Apart from this, nothing is different from usual.
Durst the Rock SeerExit the barrier, ready for anything that may be ahead of me.
[6] You decide to exit the rock barrier, but you must find an passage leading outside first. You search for a passage for hours, scanning the long natural rock barrier in detail. Then you eventually find some kind of small cavity, with a tunnel leading downward.
You enter inside, and walk forward for a moment. Then you reach the end of the tunnel, there is a hole on the ground. Wind is blowing out of the hole, and light is coming out of it. It must be an exit ! But you also realize that there will be no way out if you jump in.
But like hypnotized by the mana whispers, you jump in without an afterthought and land on the other side of the barrier.
Sand, golden sand extending beyond the horizon.

The big creature is hard to miss, your beam lands with ease. But as you focus and order the creature's body to smash itself upward, nothing happens. No, it's not that nothing is happening, it's the creature that is overpowering your beam effects !

The monster doesn't waste a second and charges at you like a mad monster with its huge maw wide open. You struggle to slow it down or something with your beam, but to no avail : the huge mouth closes with force on you, crushing your body ! It feels like being crushed by a sharp vice.

The way out is free though, and you feel like your telekinesis is working much better now for some reason. Maybe the closeness and the monster attack have something to do with it.
Caedan the Vampire"Nope, not having any of that."
Engage Mist Form to make myself harder to see and fly back to the ground. Once I'm not in danger of being sighted by them, return to my normal form. Get out of the forest, but try to not meet the human army.
[3] You instantly turn into mist, but your sword is still visible and some humans noticed you the instant before.
They first seem to aim at you, but they seem to change their mind suddenly.

An immense and wildly moving mass of black mud-like substance emerges from the woods. It his heading straight toward the human forces.
Not wanting to do anything with this, you fly away to safety. You still have sight of the humans and the black charging thing, but you are out of danger.
Dahak the Uncanny Unreasonably Spooky Scary SkeletonHmmm, there's a forest over there, see? You know, I remember that, not too long after I woke up at the graveyard and met the huge peasant soul amalgamation thing, I ran away in the direction of the forest. On the way, I found a pair knight spirits sharing the same armor, and they were fighting a wraith, and I killed it and took its mantle to use as my cloak, and then we went back to the village and fought a corruptor! I also found this holy dagger, and then we got corrupted I guess, then the knight dweebs went away, and another corruptor showed up, and I stabbed it, then I got back to the graveyard, then I met you, then I ate all the essences Morvad had stored up, then you decided to be a scaredy cat and I tore a hole in reality and a bunch of yog sothot's sentient snot came out... And... All of this happened because I decided to run... To the forest...

Dahak then realizes this makes no sense, since they're not riding on anything, and the sun sets on the west, not on the south. Plus the day is far from over.
Dahak also tries to whistle a tune, but can't, since he has no lips anymore. He just ends up making a very eerie raspy noise instead.
Head to the plains.
[2] You head toward the vast green plains to change a bit. At first there is nothing interesting in sight, until you sight a huge gathering of humans from afar. And suddenly, the sarcophagus begins to shake violently.
"Why is he suddenly agitating like this ?!"
"mOOooRe Of thEeem - I CAN FeEl thEM" screams Nihil with a voice clearly not his own.
And then you see emerging from the forest the Thing that fought with the Guardian. It is bigger and seems more dangerous than before.
Gray the Metaldee and Glint the Elemental Arcanivore"Maybe we can find some nice humans to join us."
Keep going North. Look for sources of esence along the way.

Glint quietly recalls the humans he killed back in the Quartz Wastes.
Continue to follow, if somewhat uncertainly.
[1] Despite feeling clearly uneasy, Glint decides to follow the two blobs, with the strange illusion that they must have a plan. Of course, they don't as they are naive blobs driven by curiosity and dreams.
It doesn't take long before they meet humans. Or it would be more accurate to say humans found them.
Glint sees human riding some scaly manta like creatures, flying at high speed close to the ground. Glint is reminded of similar riders, with horses instead, and quickly deduce they are not going to greet them with open arms. Vagush agrees with you.
"At least ten of them. We won't be able to flee, we must prepare to fight."
The two blobs don't seem to realize the dangerous situation and Gray waves at the humans.
The battle is terribly imminent.
Ulkas the Lesser Osyluth((...so, Chosen cemented my acid-leaking tail inside her body? Isn't this outright suicidal? No matter armor resistance, insides are still vulnerable.))
Wrestling and mental techniques while Chosen melts from tail acid.
[6] You twist your sharp tail in the human body to spread your corrosive acid further into its body while simultaneously taking partial control of a limb. Combining this move with mental disturbance reveals effective, as the combined focus loss of both attack renders the Chosen defenseless.

But this proximity is rendering you vulnerable to what is coming next.

As Astrosa tries to pull out her blade, a purple slashing attack coming from nowhere cut Astrosa's right arm at elbow level. Her blood is pouring out, and she rages in pain.
Chosen roll : [4]
The Chosen augmentation wasn't limited to a new armor, as her body suddenly turns into an ethereal body ! Her flesh turns into pure energy and she ends up looking more like a powerful animated armor than a human now. When she completes her transformation, she unleashes invisible slashes around her, cutting Astrosa's arm and cutting your tail !

"What kind of human can shift into an energy being ?!" shouts Astrosa
Despite being now immune to your poison, it is clear that this transformation is a last ditch resort. She is probably closer to death than she seems.

Appearance : A blackened and ashy being, with small fissures of embers lining all along the vines. They can possess others, and those possessed have slightly glowing, fiery eyes.

Appearance: Durst is a humanoid rock creature, about as large as a goblin. Due to him being a rock, he has lived for hundreds of years, many of which were spent dormant absorbing the natural mana waves in the air.

His fangs are elongated and seem extremely sharp. He wears black clothes fit for a nobleman, with some purple accents here and there. An arming sword hangs at his side. You could swear that his eyes are glowing red, sometimes.

Traits:
Vampire - Caedan is a vampire, and gains all advantages and disadvantages that come from being such a creature.
Night Vision - Caedan, as a vampire, sees perfectly well in the darkness. (unless all vampires come with this included, in which case replace this with Mesmerizing Eyes - Anyone staring too long into Caedan's eyes will sooner or later find themselves unable to resist his commands.)
Creature of the Night - Caedan becomes much stronger during the night, in addition to being harder to see.

Appearance: An oversized lizard made of glass. It shimmers with mesmerizing white light. Its body seems to inhabit both ice and electricity in an harmonious equilibrium. Its glass scales are cyan and yellow, and shine beautifully. A golden core can be seen on its torso.

Species: Uncanny Unreasonably Spooky Scary Skeleton -stage 2-
Appearance: Dahak now sports a slightly elongated upper skull, with a second pair of baleful eye sockets above his other ones. His shoulders, arm and hand bones have grown thicker and elongated. He seems a bit taller overall, and his entire self seems surrounded in a smoky aura of sorts. His teeth are now both longer and sharper, for whatever reason. He's certainly spookier then before. He also seems to have gained new memories.
He has a badass worn out cape and a scabbard with a holy dagger.

Appearance: Delinde has the appearance of a medium-sized girl wearing a white coat with a black hood. She wears a white mask, and has some kind of robe under her coat. Behind her mask is hidden a surprisingly human face with a skin as pure as snow. Only her eyes are strange, as hey eyeballs are white and her irises black. Her hairs are silvery and silky, tied in a neat ponytail.
