I must have been like them, until not even very long ago...

he pulls the hand back, and looks at his palm and the large indentation in it, almost like a bowl, but with small holes along the rim

Dahak tries to put into perspective for a moment. To think that a single cabbage would cause this.

Dahak realizes broke a few teeth and his jaw is slightly unhinged by the fall. The vegetables are gone too.

First he throws Nihil's kinda flatenned self on his shoulder, he'll be ok, he has no bones or blood to worry about.
Then he very carefuly picks up Delinde. Jeez, this is a lot of blood, and Dahak has no idea of how death fairy biology works. He skipped that class in the magic university, he was too busy with practical necromancy.

Look for a place to hide. If someone was crazy enough to make a chalet in a land full of ghost jerks, then there's probably a farm or some cottage around here. If its already inhabited, scare the inhabitants away, we can be sorry about it later.

With Nihil on your shoulder and Delinde carried more carefully, you painstakingly walks, carefully checking that your bones won't break suddenly.

You are sad the cart is gone. Oh, and you notice the mule impaled on a tree above.

[1] Quickly, you check for the map. It seems there is a temple somewhere, but too far from there. The chalet is far too. Ugh, there seems to be no place like a house or something close by.

By the way, it seems you are now close to the center of the map. Funny, there is a strange symbol at the center, indicating something pretty important.

You set off to explore this strange place. Dry fountains, broken statues and wild vegetation. Everywhere seems the same in this place.

Walking further away from your place of awakening, you find what seems to be a statues garden. There are many more statues than where you came from, all of them of various shapes.

[2] Suddenly you spot a moving shadow. Turning toward it, you see a being made of rock charging toward you. An animated statue of a centaur with a bull's head.
[1] vs [1] Taken by surprise, you don't manage to get out of the way in time : the charging statue savagely gores you in the body.

Your frail body is smashed apart, and it is the same for the fissured statue : the impact breaks its body thoroughly, fissuring it further and taking away huge chunks of rock. As it happens the dim glow in the statue's eyes flickers.
You lose 5HP

[4] With the Golem down, you seek for a point where a shot might be of use. Spotting what seems to be a rusted part of the armor, you shoot. The bolt flies at high speed, and this time pierce the side of the golem, lodging firmly inside. (-1 Bolt)

The bolt luckily severs a critical mana motor circuit. Because the old state of the Golem, the emergency mechanisms in such a case don't trigger, and the Golem deactivates due to some strange combination of bug and force-exit.

The Golem stops moving completely, but its body is still pulsing with magic.

Species: Fear Lord -stage 3-
Appearance: Dahak's appearance evokes a really large but still humanoid skeletal monstrosity made of a myriad of bones. Several skulls adorn and encircle his "neck" area, with Dahak's own skull having enlarged to equate to his new body proportions. His wraith cloth cloak seems alive and has glown large as well, covering him completely except for his head, and his aura is greater then ever before, though its not exactly enveloping him completely. It seems like a delayed shadow, following his movements like some sort of after image. His arms and hand bones are disproportionaly long and large for his already large new body.
He has a badass worn out cape and a scabbard with a holy dagger.

Appearance: Delinde now has the appearance of a slightly tall woman wearing a white coat with a black hood. She usually wears a white mask, and has some kind of robe under her coat. Behind her mask is hidden a surprisingly human face with a skin as pure as snow, with some strange ebon markings and symbols along her skin. Only her eyes are strange, as her eyeballs are black and her irises white. Her hairs are silvery and silky, tied in a neat ponytail.

Considering the layout of the map, trying to leave this place will take a while, specially now that the cart and the mule got sent to hell, and that Delinde and Nihil are about as integral as soggy bread. The mysterious thing in the middle of the map is the only thing thats somewhat close, even though Dahak has no idea what it is.

Dahak decides its better to risk it then just wandering around while an angry giant dweeb is on the prowl.

Go towards the middle map thing. Dream of the day Nihil will be somewhat useful.

You head West, carefully floating close to the ground, just in case dangerous monsters would roam the mountainous area.

There are close to no plant life around, only some scarce moss. The rock and ground are gray and pale yellow, and the air around is colder than in the underground. It makes you wonder how high are you compared to sea level.

[6] Trekking further West, you first spot a strange purple-red light behind some mountainous relief. There are many patrols of flying demons in this area.

Carrying both of your companions, you head toward the strange marking in the middle of the map.

Delinde: [4]

Nihil isn't waking up, and some of his gooey parts are falling apart. It doesn't seem like a good omen at all.
On the contrary, Delinde is stabilizing despite her critical state. Some white fog is wrapping around the wounds, preventing anymore blood loss.

Moving aside some branches leads you to a wide open space. Here is what you see from taking a quick look at it :

A plane grassless area, the ground isn't made of the same rock making up the hills. You are unsure if it is rock or metal, or something else.
Concentric circles, strange lines and symbols are etched on the smooth surface. It all seems to converge toward the center. Some symbols are similar to those on Nihil's borrowed clothes.

Everything about this place gives off an unnatural feeling. But at least, it doesn't seem like there is any hostile there.

[6] Somewhere else, unbeknownst to everyone, two nodi emitted a powerful light. A third of the patterns on the ground in front of Dahak began to glow.

[1] When you were still a Calcivore, you stumbled upon a strange crystalline formation in the crystal lands. You were not alone, another Calcivore was with you.

Anyway, you were adventurous, even in your youth. Oddly attracted by this formation, you approached... and suddenly the ground began to shake, and two enormous arms made of quartz emerged from the earth. The formation rose too, revealing a gigantic being with an enormous maw. Still half stuck in the ground, you were only facing its upper body for now.

Immediately the creature grabbed at your friend.
