The man is far from happy or healthy, but he answers,

"Rolvin; hunting escaped slaves; Mershin Ogre leader under Plovin."

He does not like you, to be fair perhaps it's the wounds, but he has probably captured many an escaped goblin and other things you probably wouldn't like. He looks over at the impressive little out of the way camouflaged shelter. You can see it if you're right up close to it, but otherwise looks like a small bump in the forest's topography and very hard to see from the rest of the forest floor.

What do you do?

"There other groups a' slave catchers around here?" If he answers, kill him. If not, poke him with the axe until he does answer, and then kill him.

"Check in sent every other day. They send out for anyone who's more than 2 days late. Groups of 3 usually, and you can get docked if you do. All just business and standard rules really."

"Any thing else you wanna know just ask. Surprised you managed against us three out of nowhere like that. You must be here for something important."

When we kill him, make it quick. There's no need to be personal here. I'm sure if we lost he would have done the same for us.

Killing him seems like it would be for the best, we should probably hide/bury the bodies as well.

Seeing as all he tells you about who he is hunting for is, "Some escaped slave or other. It doesn't really matter does it? They're all some escaped slave. Just make it quick."

The axe is the only quick way to execute him. Given the wounds you and the boar inflicted, he'll probably die sooner or later or wish he had from those. Your first swing nearly cuts all the way through, the second does it, though you're pretty sure he was dead at the first, if he wasn't then, he is now.

You bury the three bodies Throlu had a shovel.... The Zuffen just focuses on not thinking about the bounty on Zuffens. It is getting dark out and you do have a shelter already made for you that's camouflaged rather well, thankfully. Throlu, somewhat shaken, goes into that shelter.

check on our boat and give it some more bug cakes.

Your boar eagerly eats two bugcakes and remains laying down where it is for the night it seems. Being an only recently ridden animal of the wilds, he is probably used to roughing it somewhat.

You see in the distance a large herd of some type of deer or other similar horned animal. There must be 100 of them just casually moving about from one side of your vision to the other a few dozen feet away. Somewhat odd given that this isn't exactly a game trail but still seems to be happening.

Lost Item (2) Bugcakes

Note: You are down to (5) bugcakes. You have the ability to make more, and have 7 ranks in bug cooking with 7 ranks in bug finding. Bugcakes are composed of 1 part tasty beetles, one part tasty grubs, and one part ant paste. You could find these ingredients and cook them where you are, probably easily.

What do you do?

I guess find bugs and then cook bugcakes. Do we need a fire or is it more of a no bake type of situation with the ant paste?

Before we go to bed, ask Throlu if he knows anything else about the area and how we can get through it, and what we'll find once we do. Basically I mean what place is next up after this one, west of this one. The one closer to where we are going to be with the other goblins?
