As soon as you pick it up, the crown screams, as if in pain, but does nothing overtly harmful. Ignoring the screams, you put on the crown and suddenly your hands are on fire! They don't seem to hurt though. Weeeeird.

Otu marvels at his newfound...err, power ? He brushes it off. As long as it doesn't hurt, well, it doesn't hurt. Furthermore he has some kind of light source, so he is kinda happy.
Not wanting to burden himself with more crowns, he decides to leave the room.

Race: Slightly-eldritch lump of flesh in the shape of a human.

Inventory:
A steel broadsword. It's inscribed with a bunch of nasty-looking runework which is really just for show.
A collection of scrap metal. Mostly steel, but there's some copper and iron as well.
A necklace made from the teeth and claws of numerous nasty creatures. The sheer number and variety makes one wonder where he got them all.
The 1000-page autobiography of a particularly nasty eldritch abomination. Great for inflicting terror on oneself, and can be used to hit things on the head in a pinch.


Backstory: Ddraz is the greatest creation of a particularly incompetent eldritch horror. He's been sent into the tower to grow into the sort of powerful minion his master can't actually make.

Bonus: He doesn't actually need any organs or resources to survive, which is great for general survivability. The best way to kill him is just destroying him entirely.
