A few minutes of discussion, a push forwards, a scream. It's over quickly. Silthuri lays at your feet, unconscious. One of you steps forwards, and a boot crashes into her throat. There is a snap. She lays still.

Silthuri has been lynched. She was town.

You're the undercover Pinkerton who tipped off the agency. Every night, you can pass the description of one of the possible robbers forwards, and the agency can send a carrier pigeon to check their identity. Pigeons are fast, but not fast enough to give you more than one result a night.

You are town. Each night, you can inspect a fellow player in order to see their alignment.

Win condition: You win when all of the mafia have been eliminated.

Elephant Parade and Doomchild suddenly turn, drawing concealed pistols. Two shots ring out. A clamor is heard from the Pinkerton car, and doomchild sprints forward to disconnect the cars. He makes it through the door, and a bullet whizzes through his leg. Elephant Parade returns fire, and the body of the head Pinkerton is ground to red paste beneath the wheels of the train. Doomchild manages to get the car unhooked, and the automatic brakes screech as the engine chugs forwards into the growing night. It'll be hours before sunlight. Plenty of time to get away, tend wounds, and escape.

The game is over. Mafia Victory.


Doomchild was the Mafia Rolecop.
Elephant Parade was Vanilla Mafia.

Edit 2: sad that I couldn't really do anything to convince others that doomchild was being way too sure about themselves about Silthuri's scumminess. Then again, pisskop thought I was a scummy bastard, and Silthuri was absent and had a guilty result on EP so... bummer.

Doomchild botching his fakeclaim and claiming he blocked me N1 should have made it incredibly obvious to all of you that he was scum. Instead, you let him get away with it because only Hector cared about it and was willing to press him on it. If someone makes that bad of a mistake, hit them hard with everything you've got.

Secondly, what no one asked is why Silthuri's forgetting what to do N2 was suspicious (mainly because the two town were afk too much). If you had thought about it, you would have realized that a scum player would have made their claim watertight by claiming a town inspect on a player. It was LYLO, and Scum Silthuri had no incentive to make her cop claim seem so suspicious by claiming to have forgotten to use an inspect.

Well I guess this is one good example of how inactivity can kill a game. Even if pisskop had sided with me, we'd still have tied the vote anyway had Silthuri not come back.
