Some people are really kind of dumb. But that's not necessarily entirely their fault. Maybe they were simply born stupid. Bad genes. Unfortunate upbringing, whatever. Some people are stupid, and that's just how it is. My cat isn't smart enough to understand algebra, but that's ok. Sometimes people aren't smart enough to understand things, and that's ok too.

Some people are severely lacking in knowledge. That too, isn't necessarily their fault. Not knowing things isn't unforgivable. If you don't know something, and you can be told that thing, and your'e able to update your worldview with the new information, hey...that's totally ok. It's ok to not know things.

Some people, are mean. That's...harder to forgive. But hey, if you're smart, know what you're talking about, and if you're right...ok, maybe you're a jerk, but being a jerk doesn't mean that you're not right. Even if you're a jerk, you might still be right.

But some people are stupid, don't know what they're talking about, are factually incorrect, come to the wrong conclusions for the wrong reasons...and on top of all that are jerks about it.

I find it more difficult to be understanding of those people.
