Since Assail has the Attack and Concentration subtype, your only other Half Action would be moving 3m or using a skill. ATATH, might I recommend that you just use your laspistol? You'll have just as good a chance as hitting, and you'll do more damage. I'd like to move this combat on.

The problem with that is that I dumped my BS and WS stats, so my aim will be terrible (I'm not even sure that I'll have even a chance to hit something behind cover).

Even with BS 25, you get +10 for a Half Action spent aiming, another +10 for Short Range and +10 for Standard Attack, for a total of 55. It's also safer than using psychic powers.

I notice you don't seem to have updated the attack I made against the thug with my strength bonus damage, cheese - that's an extra four damage I'm missing out on, which I presume might actually kill him.

You're right, sorry. I confused that thug with the heavy Twinwolf killed I edited that turn and removed Thug 1 from the Initiative order.

Yup, you lose all your ammo and you gotta reload a new clip.
I'll say that it includes unjamming a weapon, since it applies to all BS tests.

Penetration doesn't ordinarily penetrate Toughness bonus, only AP.

And when firing on Overcharge the long-las gets +1 damage plus the Short Range bonus wasn't applied (which would make it 3 DoS), therefore the damage from our guardswoman's shot should be 2d10+4.
