I have the setup to make a couple soujourners sashes now, however I only have one pair of runes left (since the elementals are made in sets of 2), so if you want one you're gonna need to find some feathers. Or we need a chicken farm, considering how many things use feathers it seems.

I hopped on briefly, there appears to be nothing nearby spawn, and spawn is protected from being modified, so lotta zombies and such hanging around.  Is there a decently safe place yet?

Were you ever able to respawn? I've died a few times but not had that happen, and there is no hardcore stuff enabled on the server.

The server only just started so nothing has been placed near spawn yet. I didn't realize it was spawn protected again, that must have been re-enabled when I updated. I'll fix that.

The walled area could be eventually converted into a sort of town? Also, the small shack and obelisk close by it belong to me and will soon be signposted as such. Perhaps I will also work on making spawn more player-friendly so as to assist new players in getting to safety.

I've just restarted the server and removed spawn protection

I made a rough, slightly erratic mage light path to the walled area from spawn earlier. My house (once theres a house there and not just a bunch of chests) is on that big snowy mountain nearby.

Still trying to decide what sort of megaproject I'm going to shoot for. Thinking Academy, but a tower or somesuch is also appealing. Bleh.
