Ive been playing with poisons, and i've been wondering... can you dope other things with it, and how could we weaponize Forgotten Beasts, Dragons, Titans, and other things safely?

you could mod in a new alcohol that is made by brewing a existing alcohol with a poison
also, to safely weaponize a forgotten beast, make them able to be pets and make dwarves immune to their secretions

If you retire the fort and create an adventurer, I think you can put poisons directly in the barrels and mugs.

If you want to poison without retiring, you can take contact FB poison and put them on items. The process is detailed in other threads, and IIRC it just amounts to leaving the item on the floor and siccing the FB on a nearby creature.

this would be the previous poison science thread. However, "safely" is always a stretch when you are dealing with instant-organ-explode syndrome.

As far as weaponising FBs/titans is concerned, I imagine you could use a similar setup to the magma crab battery with a dust/poison gas/spit/fire-breathing FB. Bonus points if it's made of some inorganic substance and thus resistant or hopefully immune to goblin arrows.

Probably smartest to trap it in a webbed cage trap and then release it from the cage using a lever, and to keep a webbed cage trap outside the whole setup so you can remove it safely.

Dragons can be caged and trained into war animals already, so nothing special needed there.
