Lugus approched the stump cautiously, checking the surroundings.

Not yet... Let me get closer.

Get close to the stump. If no vision, touch it. If still no vision, take a piece of it.

Geraldine nodded.
"Yes, the spirit was were the stump is, though it appeared as though it was burning a whole tree without burning it away. It pointed.. That way." She mentioned, pointing in the same direction as the arrow she left.

[Haspen]

Lugus and Cynbel saw that this was an ordinary burned tree stump. Naught strange about it.

[Solymr]

Lugus waited for a moment, but it looked like there was nothing more to be seen. He pocketed the piece of burned wood.

Looks like we'll have to investigate the old fashioned way.

Follow the directions.

Oili falls out of her crevice in a hurry, looking around for what happened to the group.

[Ochita]

"No visions? Hmm.. Investigation it is."

Go down the direction the spirit pointed, keep an eye out for signs of.. Dirt pests.

[Haspen]

Oili quickly found... the longboat crew at the beach.

"Your fellow Walkers left to investigate some strange burning tree. That way I think?" The captain pointed in direction of the everywhere-spanning forest.

The rest of the group quickly found a peculiar path; flat stones embedded in the dirt, just few trees behind the glade with the stump. The path of rocks was leading between bushes and trees and its end wasn't seen yet.

Oili nods and runs off to catch up with them.

[Xanmyral]

"This lead to pests of dirt." Cynbel declared, assured in his own statement. "Move quickly to spirit offenders."

[Haspen]

Oili in the meanwhile managed to reach the glade with burned out stump. Her companions where nowhere to be seen.

There was however a small arrow drawn into the dirt, pointing to Oili's left.

Oili inspects the arrow. The captain hadn't said anything about the others telling him to direct her to them. Really, it's paranoid, but better safe than sorry in these new and unknown lands.

[Haspen]

T'was just an arrow drawn in the dirt, with someone's finger. Or a stick.

[Ochita]

"A path? But, by who?"
Follow that path.

With a shrugs Oili casts a look around the area and, provided there isn't anything else to draw her attention, follows the arrow.

[Haspen]

Oili ran into the thicket and quickly found herself on a path.

The rest of the group quickly found themselves at a shrine. Large, white, square-ish rock was standing in the middle, with a empty wooden bowl on top. Four smaller rocks encircled the shrine. It was a simple but decent shrine.

Unfortunately, old bits of hair, gnawed bones, some skulls and lots of other trash was strewn about on the ground, the trash covering flat rocks that made the shrine's floor.

Then there was a loud grunt. And another.

And a pair of hairy, overtly tall and large humanoids moved from behind the thicket that was behind the shrine. Their small black eyes, embedded in deep eyesockets, stared down at the Walkers. They grunted again, their voices louder and harsher.

One of the mini-giants roared and the other lifted few rocks, snarling and drooling.

They were hungry beastly men...

They were Fomorians of foreigners' tales!
