'It' stared at Geraldine.

Then it pointed in the same direction.

_{"Female... of flesh... pests of dirt... remove... restore my home... else... Mother shall... revenge..."}

Then Geraldine noticed that she was in the glade, but gentle breeze was blowing, birds were chirping, and clouds were lazily moving on the blue sky.

The fiery man was gone, and so was the flaming tree - in its place, there was a black tree stump, long ago burned down.

All characters are active again.

Asmund looked around.
"Where did Geraldine get to?"

[Ochita]

"Oookay.. At least nothing tried to kill me! Yet..." Geraldine stayed silent and still for a moment, letting the words sink in, and marking a small arrow in the dirt, in the direction the fireman pointed.

Return to the group, and tell them roughly all that happened.

[Haspen]

"This was a folly to venture into the depths of the forest! This is why you see wrecks and old bonfires here and not away in the forest, where branches are aplenty and dry. But I should've warned you in the first place." The longboat's captain was a little mad at himself at this point.

[GiglameshDespair]

"Hm. Perhaps we should try to do what it was that the fire spirit wanted. 'Else Mother shall revenge'... a fire spirit could burn our ship and we'd be trapped."

[Solymr]

Lugus walked back as the ship wasn't that interesting, only to watch Geraldine arrive and tell her story. Lugus thought for a moment until it clicked.

Sounds like you had a vision. Can you show us where it happened?

[Xanmyral]

Cybel took the fragment. May it see many strange places in the stead of the ship.

[After Geraldine spilled the beans]

"We help spirit. Is right to do." Cybel stated plainly, seeing the path clearly.

[GiglameshDespair]

"It could be a trap."

[Xanmyral]

"Still right to do." Cynbel was adamant about his decision.

[Solymr]

That's why I want to take a look at the place first. If it's a trap Svagard will show me something.

If Geraldine agrees to guide, follow her.

Geraldine crossed her arms, and tapped her foot. "You had ample time to tell us to not venture deep, you even told us to stretch our legs." After staring down the captain a couple of moments, she turned to the rest of the War Brothers. "Yes, I should be able to lead you to where I found the fire man. Personally, if nothing else.. We should probably do what it asks, it doesnt bode well if we just ignore a spirit.."

Lead the group to where I first found the fireman.

"I feel the more likely outcome is we follow the message and something attempts to take our lives, but what is life without a couple of fights to get you by. Shall we get on our way? I would quite like to meet some spirits, perhaps they can help us as much as we help them."

Bjorn said says before walking towards the forest while using the spear as a staff. He didn't have the foggiest idea how to fight with it, but it made a nice walking stick.

Follow Geraldine to this sighting of this potential flame spirit.

The longboat captain didn't protest the accusation.

And so, while Oili was snoozing comfortably in the moss, Geraldine led her 4 companions through the forest. It took a while before she returned to the glade with the burned-out stump. There was no smoke and no fireman, the place was just like she left it minutes ago.

[Xanmyral]

"That where spirit?" Cynbel asked Geraldine, gesturing at the burnt out stump. "Pest of dirt...?" The Son of the Wild pondered those words, curious what they might have meant.

"See anything?" Cynbel asked the Eye, curious.

If Geraldine agreed, then Cynbel will investigate the stump from a respectable distance.
