After the supplies were divided, or rather, taken by speedier of the cast, it was time to sail. Starting 5th Harvest, the journey to Elbion should end by 17th Harvest.

As the longboat silently left the piers of the small lake that Dornheim was built around, children, mothers and elderly watched the group of fourteen begin their journey....

Next six days were full of sailing and full of boredom. The calm sea only sometimes was stirred by an bout of wind and clouds, but there was no storms whatsoever. It was truly a pleasant time to travel and the safest too.

By the morning of sixth day of travel, when land was spotted in the direction they were headed, the leader of the longboat crew sat amongst the Walkers.

"We're reaching the Shore Point. Sometimes fishermen from Salmon's Waters or merchants from Aalborg come here for a rest or to repair their boats on their way to Varangia. Shall we change course and stop at the coast and see if there are any of our kin there? We could even wait a day or two if you do not mind a slight delay in your journey."

Oili nods.
"Aye, that sounds like a good idea."

Asmund shrugged.
"What benefit would that bring us?"

[Haspen]

The leader shrugged.

"Mayhaps a brave explorer would be coming from Elbion by chance, or a trader would be willing to barter or donate to the Walkers' noble endeavour. This just an option."

"It's still Harvest though." Chimed in some other sailor. "A bit early for our kin to be returning home for winter in great numbers."

[Ochita]

Geraldine leant against the side, enjoying the sea breeze, when it blew at least. "I see no issue with us stopping for a day or two. It'd do us well to stretch our legs a bit, and the opportunity for gain seems good."

Sure lets have some shore leave.

"So long as the stay is short then a stop would do us some good.

Visit Shore Point.

We can afford a couple of days.

The longboat's captain nodded and then ordered his men to set course for the Shore Point.

It took an hour to get to a small crescent beach where signs of old bonfires could be seen, old planks and nets strewn about and a rotting longboat half submerged at the north end of the beach.

Naught a ship or sailor was present at the Shore Point at the moment.

"It is early, after all." The captain spoke as the longboat gently landed on the wet sands of the beach. Dedicuous forest spanned entirety of the area outside the beach, stretching from south to north.

"You may stretch your legs if you wish. Nobody lives here permamently, and animals are rare sight."

Cynbel decided to take the captain up on his offer readily, moving from the boat to the sands and easing his cramped muscles. The Son of the Wild couldn't quite say he greatly enjoyed travel by ship. Too confining. Too out of his element. But the man is determined to learn to enjoy it somehow.

But that is later. For now, his curiosity is peaked. "Abandoned? Unrepairable? Curious." The Son of the Wild gestured towards the rotting longboat. If this area was so well traveled, he's surprised it wasn't stripped for parts or wood if it was useless. Surely it can't be too recent if its rotting...?
