"I would say cause a fire some other direction and draw them out of town but I don't know how effective that will be during the day. Unless we cause a lot of smoke what do you guys think."

"That seems like a lot of effort to attract the attention of a dozen zombies so we can steal a bucket. Wouldn't it be more prudent to simply walk away?"

"Well there's supplies in there that we won't be able to get out in the wilderness, and hunting isn't a sure thing. Two there might be a clue as to what the hell happened, but I honestly don't know what to do. Every engagement we end up worse and worse, and we can't even really kill these things........Crazyabe could you try blessing our weapons?? Is something like that possible?"

"We don't know that there are any supplies in there; indeed, the only other settlement we've seen was picked quite clean. Hunting is most certainly not a sure thing, but unless we can rely on large caches of easily accessible yet somehow unclaimed food I suspect we have little choice in the matter; when civilization falls, one must live off the land.

Otherwise, my preference is for attempting to reach Woodchuck Falls; I feel it would be beneficial to find or confirm the absence of other survivors, and running water could have its advantages. As we've neither the food nor water to make such a journey, however, such a plan would require a bit of foraging beforehand.

But then, I imagine most plans would.


Alternatively, we could acquire some necessities and then begin experimenting on our wandering friends. I'm wary of doing so without a solid base of operations, however, as experiments have a bad habit of going poorly at inopportune times and we're hardly in a position to waste time and effort. The information we could gain from a few simple tests might prove invaluable, though. Or it might tell us nothing."

"So our current priorities are getting water and getting a pot from the town. Getting the water shouldn't be too difficult, but we're gonna need a plan to get the pot. So far, the two plans we've come up with involve drawing the zombies away. One relies on a fire and one relies on bait. Which plan do you guys think we should take? Any other plans that could work better?"

"Fire seems safer, at least immediately, and the zombies might even walk directly into it."

"You both have some skill at finding sustenance, do you not? That may be welcome indeed come tomorrow. I would try a bit north near the lake if I were you, but then, if I were you I'd know my business well enough to do it myself."

"What are we going to boil the water in? Our leather waterskins? Best to get the water from the lake, bring it to camp, and boil it from the pot that Kashyyk and DigitalDemon'll get from the town. If they come back with no pot, we'll just go back to using helmets."
