Thanks, Tomcost, for taking over the Shade team while I was gone. You can keep control over them.

You can't vamp the Butcher- his Dodge ability makes him immune to the 1 damage bite attack.

Also, the only consequence for filling the ship with Shades is that we all go insane? Considering that none of the Insanity effects deal damage, and that Shades are immune to insanity, I'm actually thinking of filling the ship anyway.

Could I make the Library out of Shades (or their corpses)?

((I can't,that's right but D can as he has 3+ from his power and 3+ from invasive strike so he CAN turn the butcher))

((okay i see a few issues with this
1.there is an insanity that causes damage.
2.shades don't leave corpses.
3.the dm wont like that.))

As I'm not a machine and only a man, I don't think I want to process millions of Shade turns. As such, I've made an update to the overcrowding rules:

Shade leave no corpses, and besides, wouldn't leave wooden corpses anyway. You need 4 wood and 2 stone to build a library. You can build it for one material less if you get the gnomes to help (due to their Frugal Workmanship). If you're lucky and you guys kill all the current invaders, you might have enough materials to build one.



Processing the turn in a moment... just waiting for Roboson to submit an action.

Round 1 - Turn 2 - The Year of the Butcher

Remilia runs to the pit room to hide.

Team Shade runs out of the room and quickly shadow-hops to Vent 2.

The gnomes enter the Horde.

The Dracolich moves to the engine room.

D. turns on Petal, savagely rending her for 7 damage, dropping her corpse to the ground along with her longsword.

Nik'nak moves to the mauloseum, and possesses Petal's corpse. [2 health corpse, 3 physical attack]

Francis is idle.

Round 2 - Turn 1 - The Year of the Butcher

Lingo makes his free movement to Corridor A, then moves to the Mausoleum, sees Petal's distended corpse and cries out, swinging his long-sword at the abomination. The corpse is destroyed, and Nik'nak is driven out of the body. "Need some light over here!" he shouts over the intercom.

Eely moves to the Mausoleum, her Sunray now filling the Mausoleum with natural sunlight. Nik'nak takes 1 damage and has a desire to leave the area.

It is now Butcher Bevil's turn, as played by UristmcLibash

New action: Barricade: a doorway can be blocked as the last action of a turn. A barricaded door can only be opened if the openers collective size rating + unarmed physical attack exceeds the collected size rating + unarmed attack of the barricaders.

So three gnomes have a barricading value of 3 (size 1, unarmed 0 x3), so they can block one regular human (size 2, unarmed 1). Opening a blocked door successfully doesn't take any additional actions.
