Monstrous visions can't be dodged as they're not a weapon or unarmed attack, but as they're only level 1 shades and ATHATH picked monstrous visions, you're unable to shadow-hop. Also, it's UristmcLibash's turn first with the Butcher.

*checks* No you're absolutely correct. You can shadow-hop. You don't have monstrous visions then, and your mental damage is a touch attack (so it doesn't beat dodging) I was misreading ATHATH's sheet (which I've now amended so I don't make the mistake in future).

You've got two actions, spitting and talking are free, so you can attack again, move, pick up something etc.

Round 1 - Butcher's Turn

The Butcher squeals out, "Heh, lets.slaughter some pigs." He then hacks one of the shades [magic 4], dissipating it entirely. Then he spits on the lich's oozing dessicated corpse, before picking up Red's short sword. He is now:

Butcher Bevil: Enchanted Iron Cleaver [4 physical/magical dam]: 8 physical with Incisive, Iron Short Sword [1 physical]
Health: 16
Techniques: Incisive Strike: Your physical attacks deal additional 4 damage, Dodging: You only take damage from weapon and unarmed attacks if they exceed 4 damage, Shake It Off: As a free action, you can heal 4 damage once per encounter, Dual Wielding: You can attack with two weapons as one action.

Round 1 - Turn 2

It's now the crew's turn.
