I don't think it comes with a cartridge standard (at least the wiki doesn't mention it) so you might wanna invest in that as well.

I tend to assume that all weapons come with at least one clip of ammo, no? Otherwise why bother setting their price at that level?

I don't really recall, were field manipulators bundled with a starter brain?

It might get a 1-foot cartdridge for free, I'm not sure, just pointing out the armory doesn't explicitly mention that it does. People have bought this thing before though, you could check with them (I think U_P bought one?); For this item it might make sense not giving a free cartridge due the whole scaling thing.

And yes, I think manips got 1 free low-level brain.

Talked some stuff over pm with pw. The second Id manifestor is also integrated into the mask. I'm also allowed to buy two remotes for the pocket dimension, linked to Miyamoto's pocket dimension, for 1 token each. so:
